The insurance does not have valid complaint against A1 Choice Insurance Agency. Her insurance was with [redacted] Insurance Group. There is a audit dispute for her workers' comp. As I understand it, her accountant included the payroll for officers in the audit. This was incorrect. That is...
not our fault. The accountant and the insured did not discuss or review the audit with us. Once we became aware of the issue, we discussed with insured and supplied her with the forms needed to dispute the amounts, We offered to review these forms and submit them for her. However, we have not seen a copy or reviewed them. The insured submitted those direct to the insurance company. The audit was handled direct by her with the company. I had nothing to do with the process. Had the insured talked to me and or had me review her audit all these issues would have been avoided. Also we did not put the premium to collections. We are not involved in the collection process. we are NOT responsible for actions of a third party. We would be happy to sit with the insured and review her audit paperwork and help her meet insurance company requirements. Please note the notice was delayed because the email address used is for an employee who is on medical leave and is/was not involved in this issue. Please direct all emails to [redacted] or to [redacted]
I have never admitted any fault in this matter! The dispute is between the insurance company/collection agency and the insured. I has the one the discovered the problem with her audit. I was the one the saw the error in payroll, and contacted her about the matter and what to do. I am doing what I can to resolve this for the client. I DID ask for the her to provide me copies of the audit for review. I have the documentation of the phone calls, letters, etc to her. I spoke with the insurance company and am sending them documentation that I hope with will result in favorable change for her. They need to correct the issue with charging for officers payroll. I am only the agent for the insurance company. Any money paid to me goes to them. Therefore I have no money to refund to the her.
