Review: We contracted this company to re-secure our porch railings along with work to be done on our chimney. They quoted us a price for the entire scope of work and we agreed. They came to perform the work on Aug 18th. Within days of the work being completed however, it became evident that the left railing was still not secure. We called the company numerous times to rectify this issue but each time they had an excuse for why they could not come. Finally, they came back on Sept 23rd. [redacted] (the contractor who did the original work) saw the issue, called the office (according to him) and decided the issue was not their problem since the problem involved a rusted leg of the railing however he offered that they could fix it at additional expense. I informed him that I was not satisfied with that option since we contracted them to fix both railings (both of which had rust at the time of the quote). [redacted] apologized and left.Desired Settlement: We asked the company to attempt to re-secure railing again with more cement as attempted previously but they refused. They only offered to screw railing into the side of our house which is not what we desired. Therefore we would like a partial refund for work that was not done satisfactorily.

Response:

I am the owner and this is the first time im hearing of this complaint. We performed work at your home that was satisfactory, im sorry if the railings were loose but sometimes that happens when they are older and the legs are worn. The $400 you are asking for is a bit steep for just some railing cement, all our work was excellent and maybe somebody touched it before it fully dried. Either way we are willing to return to fix it, so please contact us at [redacted], or we can work something out or perform a service at no charge to you, sorry for the inconvienance hope to hear from you soon.

Review: Company has refused /delayed the proper repair of my driveway despite repeated requests/promises and delays. Two holes in the driveway were improperly repaired with material that set poorly/incorrectly and remains soft and is coming loose in sticky black clumps. We are unable to use portions of the driveway as we don't want to drive over the bad spots and bring up more of the poorly applied material. The company representative has repeatedly (at least 4 or 5 times) promised to make the repairs. Each and every time he has failed to complete the job. The company's representative for our job is [redacted]).

The work work was done on May 6, 2014. Last contact was about two weeks ago. Once again promised repairs were not made.Desired Settlement: As described by the company representative. Adequately and professionally repair of the two spots in need of repair and to be completed as described by the sales representative. That is removal of the damaged work from both spots, Areas in question cut out and appropriately filled

Response:

Dear [redacted], my name is Pat im sorry about the concern for your driveway, I believe he threw that in for you at no extra charge, im sorry if the material didn't set well and we are willing to send an account rep to take a look at it and see what we can do to fix the issue. Please contact our office and we can come take a look at your earliest convenience. sorry for the misunderstanding.

Review: This company installed a brand new roof on my home, the end of Febuary 2015. The old roof was completely removed and the new roof was installed. I was told there was a 25 year warranty on this new roof and if there were any problems just call and they will take care of it. A short time ago less than 2 months from the install the roof is leaking. I placed a phone to the company on numerous occasions over the past week and half requesting someone take a look at the roof and take care of the problem only to be completely ignored.Desired Settlement: To have the problem properly resolved to my satisfaction

Review: This business installed a new roof on my house and it has leaked on and off since the completion of the job since January of 2013. It has been leaking now again since last December 2013 and I am trying to sell my home......I have called the company dozens of times and have been getting the run around for months.................the work in the contract is guaranteed for 1o years and it didn't make it a year with out leaks and problems...................this company is destroying my home and I can not sell it like this. They are causing me to loose my home......maybe declare bankruptcy.................and are destroying my life . They are nasty and keep saying the owner is away or on vacation.

He is having a good time on my money!! I can not take it any more!! I need some relief from the worry and despair...........Desired Settlement: A full refund and costs to repair the damages to my home would be great................. these people should not be in business . They just destroy peoples lives. Other items that they replaced or repaired are also falling apart. The original roof lasted without a leak for over 30 years .....this one leaked right after completion!!

Response:

We actually fixed all damaged areas in the home for free carpets and sheetrock and painted at no charge to homeowner. Homeowner received insurance money and the repairs we made where mostly to existing old problems but we did not argue and fully replaced everyhing. Customer also took us to court and judge settled the matter I have paperwork to prove it. We always try to make homeowners happy and in this case we did all the work necessary and the courts approved. I dont know if you are trying to get extra free work out of our company but that is not fair. We are still willing to check any issues you may have thank you

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: As Stated in my complaint the roofer (A-1 Everlast Construction)

Regards,

My husband and I hired A1 and they came to our home on 4/25/15 to give an estimate on a leak in the roof of our baby’s room that caused mold to the drywall.

On 4/29/15 a different employee than the one who gave the estimate came to perform the roof repairs. In the mean time we had to completely replace the dry wall in that room.

Not even a month later a leak in the same part of the room began to form and we called A1. The manager, Pat, said he would not send anyone over to fix it although our paperwork states:

5 YEAR WARRANTY ON MATERIALS

5 YEAR WARRANTY ON WORKMANSHIP

My husband complained and they came over to do a quick caulk job on the outside of the home.

Not even 5 months later on 10/2/15 we have another leak in the same spot of the roof in our baby’s room. The young man that came over last came back and did a quick caulk job on the outside of the roof.

I received a call from the manager, Pat, that they would never be back to our home. I said fine, refund me the $400 we paid and we will hire someone else to fix our roof. He was rude and tried to state that although my paperwork states paid in cash, he doesn’t believe it was a paid in full as the repairs should have cost us more to begin with, then hung up on me. If the person who performed the estimate would have quoted us more for more extensive work from day 1 then it would have been a different story.

The paperwork on this company states, “Honest, Commitment, Quality for many years.”

This company is anything but what it states to be.

Performing shoddy work, not honoring a warranty, and ripping off a pregnant woman is apparently not a big deal to this company.

Review: We are in the process of selling our home. [redacted] WHo I believe is part owner or owner of the comapny drew up a contract to repair my front stoop, It was sinking. The contract states the following:

! Spot point front steps

2.re cement existing limestone

3.Grind out only bad sections

4.5000 pst cement

5.cosmetics

6. 5 YR WARrENTY

I was promised that the stoop will pass home inspection. It does not. The stoop fills with water when it rains.

Nothing was grined out because the worker NEVER asked for an electric hook up to use the grinder,Which [redacted] said the worker would need?

In call ing the company we My Husband and I were were "blown off" numerous times and told to call back another day. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THE GUTTERS ON THE HOUSE WERE CAUSING THE PROBLEM??? reALLY

My husband was told someone would go to the house and check it out,After calling 5 more times someone came to look at the stoop and agreed it had sunk .But there was absoultly NOTHING that they were going to do. HOW ABOUT HONOR THE CONTRACT>>5 yr warrenty? whatt exactly does that mean. While my Husband was on the phone with [redacted] discussing this he hung up on him. NICE BUSINESS PRACTICE>

People like him should be out fishing somewhere ......permanetlyDesired Settlement: [redacted] should honor the contract he wrote and repair the stoop . !!!!!!! I am not asking for a new stoop I am just asking that he fix the problem!!!!!! as a good businesss person should!!!!!!!!!!

Business

Response:

the contract and dicussion our technician had was clearly stated cosmetic repairs. Since the home was being sold you wanted to spend the least money possible so we accomadated exactly what was talked about replacing a stoop is more money than repointing it isnt our fault the home inspector didnt agree we are more than willing to come out there and try to resolve the issue please let us know

Review: We hired this company to come out on 11/16/to complete a chimney repair/cleaning of a wood-burning stove (receipt of service to prove) and hadn't used the stove at all for the remainder of the calendar year due to the excessively warm DecemberAfter burning about 8-fires in the month of January, we had a chimney fire on Sunday 1/24, with no structural damage to the house just damage to the flue and stoveThe town police and fire departments responded to extinguish the fire, revealing a clogged flueThe fire department removed nearly two buckets full of soot from the flue (photos and fire report to prove and support)We called AEverlast the following morning to discuss the issue of a poor cleaning and a manager said he would look into the issue and get back to usOver two weeks went by without any sort of response from the companyWe have [redacted] home owner's insurance and they have been fantastic with their cleaning services, offerings and communication regarding the issueThey cleaned the house to remove residual soot and smell from the homeI attempted to contact AEverlast yesterday and spoke to someone who doubted my claim of a chimney fire and the gentleman told me he will contact me this afternoon to follow up.Desired Settlement: I am looking for financial reimbursement for any repairs or replacements necessary done to the wood burning stoveDue to poor previous work done, I'd prefer that AEverlast not do the repairs but supply financial reimbursement

I am rejecting this response because: I am deeming this response as a threatThe cleaning cost $with a coupon we received in the mailAt no point did the men who provided the service document on the bill or mention that the wood burning stove was unsafe to lightThey also made no mention of coming back for an inspectionIf that was the case, I certainly wouldn't have put myself or my family in danger or risk in using an unsafe/unusable stoveI have documentation and support to show that the fire was caused due to a clogged flue, which should've been cleaned properly the first time, regardless of the cost of the cleaningIf you feel it is necessary, have your attorney contact us, as we have documentation to support our claimBased on our poor experience and the lack of professionalism we would rather not have to deal with your business again

That is not a threat at all! We spoke to you on the phone and wanted to come check the situation we agreed on that from there we would have given you options or money back we are a company that takes pride in our work you agreed on meeting us then bad mouthed us on Revdex.com we never said we wouldn't look into the claim or come by we like to uphold our integrity and would do what we could to make you happy that is no threat at all so please don't say that it is offensive and we are very understanding to your needs if I can help please allow me too

I am rejecting this response because: I can not believe the fabrications that have gone into your storiesWe put a call into your business the day after the fire occurred and someone from your office told my wife you would "look into it" and get back to usTwo and a half weeks went by and we did not hear a wordAs a reputable business with a lot of integrity, I would assume a call such as ours from a customer would be held with a high level of priorityI had to call back to follow up and was again told that it wasn't your faultThat is neither here nor there at this pointThe words from your first response: "please do not accuse our company again of causing the fire or you will be hearing from our attorney" most certainly can be interpreted as a threat, which is why I rejected your first responseAs the consumer, I have the right to "bad mouth" a poor experience on whatever platform I choose to useFortunately, my homeowner's insurance company has been extremely professional and helpful during this frustrating time and will cover repairs/replacements to our wood-burning stoveTherefore, I will no longer require communication with your company and have decided to go with another professional company

Review: company was employed to repair small roof repair. they said they cleaned up the debris, but it certainly did not appear that way as nails, shingles, wood were littered all over my yard and roof, so much so that they filled 3 plastic bags. The kicker was the cigarette butt left on my roof. Not 24 hours later it rained and not only did the original leak continue, but a second leak began. company was called to be informed and make necessary repairs. owner was weary that leak was his fault, so he asked if I would allow his employee inside my house to view ceiling. after confirming and apologizing, the worker said he would personally come back and fix it. we then spoke to the owner who said they would be back that week to fix it. no one came. after 3 phone calls, he stated he couldn't believe no one came or no one returned your phone calls. rescheduled yet again, and this time they came and said they made repairs. after the next rain, it leaked in the original location. another 3 calls before he answered, and again couldn't believe it. said he would have someone out that week, but no one came. 3 more voicemail's and no return phone call again. the owner was requested twice to personally come out himself to see and help us out and each time he agreed to, he didn't.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back. this company didn't do anything other than make a mess of my house and yard. I had to clean up 3-4 bags of wood, shingles and nail debris all over my property so my children wouldn't get injured.

I am rejecting this response because: My wife [redacted] has spoken to Anthony, the owner at least 3 times and has left several messages which have not been returned. When she reaches him, he promises to take care of it, but then doesn't come to the house and then doesn't return her calls. She has asked him to physically come to our house to inspect it instead of sending someone and he always agrees to, but then never does. It is the same leak because it is leaking in the same exact spot

Review: I hired them to replace my steps and walk way. There were/are some issues with the craftsmanship . I was told during the sales pitch that if anything goes wrong,if we have to replace a stone just give us a call. I made numerous calls that were never returned. After 4 weeks my wife finally reached someone that came out to correct one issue with cement where grass is suppose to be. They send an installer Bob who dug out the cement and said I will be back tomorrow with top soil and grass seeds. I called him the next day because he never showed, no answer. I left him a text and voice message. Its been 2 weeks and I haven't heard from anyone. I went out and bought my own soil and seeds. There is a brick lose but no one returns calls. When payment was due the phone rang constantly when can you be home, can I come to day. etc.Desired Settlement: tighten paver stone , and make the row straight.

Review: The person who came and gave us an estimate for our roof repairs told us they would bring three guys and it would take all day to occur. they also said they would come on a Tuesday. They came the day before without any notice and they only brought two guys. They ripped through our roof and did an extremely poor job. Two days later it began to rain and my roof is still leaking. The leak actually sounds worse than it had been before. I've called to complain but so far have not received any call back.Desired Settlement: I would actually like them to come back and perform the job the way they were supposed to.

Review: Last summer I decided to hired this company to do some work on the front steps of my house. I made a contract with this company to repair the steps and put some stones on the side wall and on the side of the steps and at front of the steps too. The total work was contracted for 4200.00 and 25 years warranty for any damage of the work. The guy who I did the contract bought me a magazine and told me " these are the stones that we used for jobs like this outside, you have to chose one") looking on the color and design I chose one and giving to him . 10 days later the company stared the job a few weeks later when everything was finished I was very happy because everything looked very nice. Winter came and a 7 months later when spring came I realized that the stones on the steps are broken and breaking apart. Rapidly I called the company and I spoke with a secretary called Dona explained to her the situation and all that she said was "I will pass the message to my boss and he will contact you". Days pass by almost 10 days called again and she told me the same. I decided to give them a few more days and never hear from them . 3 weeks after she told me the same and I stared getting upset and compliened with her over the phone and she give me the excuse that at that moment they were very busy with other clients. At this point I was very mad finally one day when I called back other afternoon spoke with owner very rude he said that he will send a person to take a look and see what is going on. Company came in on a day that I was not at home and they never call me. When I called back days after to see when are they will be able to come in they told me that some one came in already and the reason why the stones are broken is because during winter we put ice salt and that ruins the stones. I mentioned to him that when I made a contract no one mentioned anything about ice salt and I would like to get this fix. Now they told me that they won't do it by free they are not responsible.Desired Settlement: This is something that they have to take care under warranty jobs like this will last more than 15-20 years. Costumers should not pay for this if this is under warranty and job was done less than a year. No one mentioned anything about the ice salt melt I am not a construction company who knows all these details they are the one responsable to let the costumers know. No one has been call me back yet now when I called the person who is handle my case his name is BOB He is never in the office or he is in there after 4:30 pm and then when I call the company is already closed. Last time when I spoke with him he told me "we can replaced but you have to pay for this , this is not free"! I was very disappointed if this is the 25 years warranty , PLEASE Y NEED HELP!! IT IS NOT FAIR THE JOB WAS NOT CHEAP !!!!

Dear sir we can definitely come to an agreement on fixing the steps it was a bad winter and salt was used on the stone causing some issues we are willing to do what we can lets just be reasonable please call ask for pat

Review: On May 5th 2013 I had a leak coming from my roof into my attic. I called A1Everlast Construction, LLC to take a look at my roof and about the leak. [redacted] came on the 9th of May 2013 and said the roof above the dormer need to be replaced, the rest of the roof was in good condition but will have to be done in the near future. Our agreement was to replace the section of the roof over the dormer at this time. I have him as check for $200.00. The total job was $1800.00, a coupon of $300.00 balance of$ 1300.00. As to my knowledge living in this house for 36 years, the roof on this house has been black shingles. On May 13, 2013 [redacted] and his crew came to do the work and was paid by check for the completion of the job, when completed I could not believe my eyes, he replaced the black shingles with light grey, that does not look anything near what the rest of the house has. On May 14, I called and complained to him, he was very sorry for the mistake and came the next day with samples. I called him to let him know the color that we chose Rustic Black by [redacted] that matched exactly. He said he will have it in a few days and will be here to complete the work correctly. I told him his crew left a mess and destroyed the screens I had installed in the gutters so they will not get cluttered with leaves etc. He said he will fix whatever I needed to be done and was sorry for my inconvience. You cannot see the work he did from the ground, you need to walk down the block to see it. I have pictures of the difference in color. After a few days have passed I called A1Everlast and spoke to someone about the wrong color and I was going to stop payment on the check. His reply was "Are you threatening me". I said no but if I have to I will. I paid for services that was not done correctly. I have called [redacted] on numerous occasions and always said he was busy. After May 28, whenever I called him he did not answer his phone, I left message after message with no response.Desired Settlement: Would like to have the color the the roof done correctly as to our contract and the gutters fixed.

Review: We paid A 1 Everlast Construction $1500.00 for roof repair work done on 12/22/14. On April20, 2015, the roof leaked again under the spot supposedly repaired. Either A1 didn't do the job properly or the repairman (who finished the 1 day job at 3:30) didn't fully complete the work. I called A1 on 4/20/15 (the day of the leak) and was told they would come that week. after several unreturned phone calls, employee "Nelson" finally arrived on may1, 2015. After initially claiming no responsibility he agreed to make repairs, said he needed tar and would return that day. he never returned and company never phoned me to explain. At least 7 calls to A1 were answered by an obvious company employee claiming to be an answering service without knowledge. The contract gives a 2 year warranty on workmanship and a 7 year warranty on materials.

Part of the job involving filling a low spot was not fully completed. "Tim" was the original repair man. I want the work completed properly.Desired Settlement: To have the work completed properly as soon as possible.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: Company's response is misleading:a.)They charged $1500.00 for a six hour job, a few extra shingles and a little extra time and tar isn't much "out of pocket."

b.)The leak occured because the job wasn't fully completed the first time not due to the age of the roof.c.)Re: 3 extra visits - On the first visit the man inspected, promised to return and repair, but never did. On visit number 2, the man arrived earlier then the time he told me so no was home. Visit number 3 The work took about an hour and a half. The work seems to be done now. They gave us a 2 year guarantee. we'll see if it lasts. Tim, who completed the job 6 weeks after many calls after my initial complaint to them was pleasant, polite and businesslike. It took a very long time for them to come and only after I complained to you(Revdex.com) did they bother to come and finish the work.

Review: On 11/30/13 I called the company to come give me an estimate for a repair on the back roof. It was leaking into my kitchen. I showed him exactly where I thought it was and he confirmed the location. While he was there I also asked for him to check the small roof overhanging my front door. He gave me an estimate of $1000 for both repairs. As he was leaving I asked how much just for the back repair since my kitchen was being redone and I didn't want it to leak on my new cabinets. He said it would cost 400 to fix the back. He said if I paid cash since he was already here he would do it for 300. I said ok. He asked if I had any shingles left. I did. He was only out there for about 10 minutes. My husband watched him the entire time. He unscrewed a gutter, put a shingle down under it where he said one was missing and glued it. When he came down, I gave him the 300 cash and asked him for a receipt. I didn't pay much attention to what he wrote I just looked to make sure I saw 300 on it. and I did. Howver, after he left. I re-read the receipt and it didn't say paid, it said Balance due. But I thought ok..no big deal...I continued to read the receipt and it said..."Installed missing shingle where was leaking". WHAT!!! I said to my husband. $300 to glue on a shingle. I called the office immediately and they ignored my calls. After mentioning the Revdex.com, [redacted] the owner called me, the price was high for 1 shingle but he would have to talk to the repairman. Then he never called me back. I called and called several times for a few days. They finally had the repairman named Val call me back and he said he can't do anything. that was the price since their insurance was so high and they did give me 5year warranty. I said they were out of their minds to think I was going to pay 300 for one shingle, which was my own to begin with and he didn't even repair the weakened wood under the shingle which I thought would be part of the job. It had been leaking for a whileDesired Settlement: After hounding the owner to call me back, he did and said he would take $25 off and reduce my warranty. They want me to do the other part of the job and they would honor the estimate of $1000. I don't want to do business with them. The guy who answers their phone is rude. He hung up on me twice. When I called back and threatened with the Revdex.com, that is when [redacted] called me back. I want a full refund for the work they did and I will pay a small amount for them gluing on my own shingle. I do not want their warranty. I don't believe they would come back to honor it. I will pay $50 which I think is fair since it was my own shingle and all he did was glue it down under the gutter.

Review: On 8/17/2015 an employee named Miguel replaced the roof on my shed, he attached aluminum fascia and added new gutters. As he was attaching the aluminum fascia, I noticed that it was taller than the wood fascia behind it and taller than the roof line. This caused the shingles to flip up at the edge of the roof, potentially causing a dam. I mentioned this concern to the foreman Bob but he said it wouldn't be a problem. The job was completed and I paid them in full. 2 days later it rained and as I suspected -- water pooled on one corner of the roof. On 8/20/15, the salesman Dan had to return to my home with Miguel to pick up debris from the job that they had left. That's when I mentioned the issue to Dan -- as well as showing him photos of the water pooling when it rained. He called the office and told me someone would come back to make the repair. No one came or called. I texted Dan on 8/25/2015. I called Dan on 8/26/2015 and left a message. I called Dan again and left a message on 9/9/15 then I immediately called the office and spoke to the receptionist Donna. She said she would tell the owner and have someone sent out that same week. No one came or called so I called the office and spoke to Donna again on 9/15/15. She said she would have someone come over that same day. A foreman named Elliot came by and saw the issue and confirmed that it was a problem then told me someone from the office would call me to schedule an appointment. No one did so I called the office again on 9/23/15 and spoke to a man who told me to call back on 9/24/14 after 10am to speak to Elliot when he’s in the office. I asked him if Elliot had mentioned the issue to anyone. He said he doesn’t know because he only answers the phones. I am not confident that A1 Everlast Construction will take care of this issue based on the lack or responsiveness from them on this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like A1 Everlast Construction to return immediately and temporarily remove the gutter, properly replace the aluminum fascia on 2 sides of the roof, then reattach the gutter properly.

Business

Response:

We already know your concern we didnt replace the fascia so its not our fault we have been by several times already for different complaints call the office speak to me Pat and we will come by one last time if the fascia was existing you will be charged additional for anything that is not our fault but we will see when we get there.

You did in fact replace my fascia. Miguel did it. And he installed new gutters. The other incorrect statement in your response is that you've been out several times to resolve complaints. You were out only once to remove pieces of chimney from my attic, which I needed removed in order to run duct work-- the reason for having the chimney removed in the first place.

Response:

I believe the check was given back to the homeowner, but if not, we would be more than happy to refund the money.

Review: In January of 2015, A1 Everlast repaired the front steps leading to my house. They replaced a cracked Step, cemented down an additional step which was loose, and re-cemented the landing leading to my front door. Prior to the work, I was given a contract guaranteeing all work and parts fort his project for a number of years. Within 3 months, the step that was replaced is cracked again, as is the one that was re-cemented into place. The mortar on the landing is loose, allowing water to get into the foundation. I have made multiple phone calls to the company. For every call I was told that either the boss was not in, or was busy and I would get a call back. I have NEVER received a call back from the company.Desired Settlement: I want my steps repaired, free of any additional charge. A1 everlast is in violation of their contract. I want the cracked steps replaced, and all repairs made tot he landing.

Dear sir I am sorry you had trouble reaching our customer service department I can help you. The job was a a small repair to get you by because you didn't want to invest in all new steps unfortunately when the main structure is not sound a limestone or a small repair over it may crack especially with the winter we had as far as the warranty yes the labor will be free but the material which is minimal we have to charge for it. If you have any questions call our office and we can help you our warranty will be honored but we can't help the winter and the small repair that was done over older steps also if you put salt down for ice that would also make it worse which we can tell by looking at it. As you know it took two guys and material to complete the repair there was no profit margin so we where very fair the new material is warranted one last time but we need to be compensated for some labor. In the future I suggest replacing the steps. Thank you for your time.

I am rejecting this response because:

Nowhere in the contract is there any stipulation that the warranty is only valid if I pay further money. I already paid for a job to be done. The contract I signed guaranteed both the material and the work done for at least 4 years. I will not pay twice to have this job done. It should have been done properly the first time.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: On Octover 12, 2013, this company came to my house to start roof repairs on my porch. A man named [redacted] was in charge and I explained everything that needed to be repaired on said porch. He told me the fee was 1.050 dollars. I paid [redacted] 500 dollars. After they made the repairs, I paid them the balance which was 550 dollars. A few weeks after the repairs, it rained and for the first time, it began leaking in the left sde of my porch. I called the company more than 10 times with no response. The cell number [redacted] gave me was not working. Finally, yesterday, December 11th, I received a call from a "[redacted] who had come to check the job his company did and told me that his investigation found that the work was done correctly but that the leak was not his company's faul ( they had come to repair the complete roof, mind you), and that I had to pay 1200 dollars in order to repair the area where the leak was coming from. I disagreed.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my money back because the company did not repair the porch roof adequately and I have a lot of water damage in my porch which NEVER had a leak to begin with.

Response:

as we did do work and to give the money back wouldnt be fair because the other leak wasnt the same one we fixed. we are willing to come out and address any other issues you may have, if not I believe $200 is more than fair for us to refund seeing we did spend labor and material and do work
