I ordered delivery via Foodler (complaint to follow), an online delivery middle man yesterday at 2:15PM. Delivery was estimated to occur at 3:15PM. When the food did not arrive I called A1 at 3:24PM to inquire, was told, "Eh, the food is still here, when the driver comes back I will send him to you." I have specific instructions to call my phone as I do not have a door bell. I called again at 3:47PM only to get a busy signal. The driver called me at 4:08PM, a block away from my house. I got my food at 4:13PM. I contacted Foodler for a refund, and they contacted A1. I had ordered a "steak dinner" and received "steak tips". I had asked for medium well for both what I thought was a steak and a cheeseburger. Both were ice cold and well done, nearly burnt. When Foodler advocated for a refund for me the owner lied and said the driver was calling me for a half hour to deliver, which was a lie. Based on the timing of my calls and the travel distance it would have been impossible for that to occur, and I have my call log to prove it. The "owner" said the driver offered to take back my food or redeliver food. Absolutely not correct. The driver never looked me in the eye and scurried off. I opened the food and it was ice cold, I called A1 back, busy signal. I contacted Foodler again, only to have Foodler be unresponsive. All I want is a refund on my credit card and am getting nowhere with the A1 or Foodler. I did some internet research and my experience is not unique.
