Paul's wife told me the cost to build a fence after labor was going to cost me $1600, so I paid everything up front to get it done. A week later (weeks before starting the job), he told me it was going to cost $2000 (after signing). I cancelled because of the increase in price, and he kept the money. He said he started the work because he called 811. This company is a con!
We had a contract to build a privacy fence at your home. I have the signed contract that clearly states $2,000. We never collect 100% prior to starting work. We collect a 50% deposit. There was no increase in price. You stated that you ran out of money, and wanted to use the money you paid us for other things. We had begun the project, and yes we did call 811 as always for a project such as yours. We also planned and designed your fence, spent hours with you on design and layout, and ordered materials. You were advised that our company policy, which is clearly defined in the contract, is that once work has begun there are no refunds. We are not cons, we are a reputable business with many repeat customers.
