A1 Movers Of Janesville Reviews (5)

[redacted] had hired us to mover her from Janesville to [redacted] **, her move was estimated at 10-15 hours for job completion. 1 of the issues the guys had there driveway at the unload location. I had spoken to [redacted] the day of the load up and she indicated that her husband was already up... there, I explained that the driveway needed to be cleaned off to safely get up the driveway, she told me she would talk to her husband and make sure it was ready to go. After the guys arrived they were met with a driveway covered in ice & snow, unfortunately with there driveway being difficult it did take some time to safely get up most of it. As for the claim the guys were standing around on load up, when I reviewed our trailer cameras I believe this to be false as the guys were working diligently to complete the load up.mattress - again when I had spoken to the guys that night of the load up they had indicated that [redacted] ’s help were the ones who had grabbed and pulled the mattress out of the trailer causing the rip. If the mattress would have been lifted properly there would have been no damage to the mattress.as for the remainder of the items [redacted] is claiming we broke, Iv only received pictures of a portion of these items. Once I recieve all of the pictures I’ll review and proceed foreword with the insurance.

Company states they are following the invoice and will not be responding further

We had spoken over the phone in regards to mindy move, later on she had scheduled us though our email conversation. We had explained in this estimate as we do in all our estimate " our rate is 150$ per hour for two...

guys, truck, trailer, all tools, blankets and anything needed to complete the job as efficiently and safely as possible.  We had estimated this job to take 2 guys 9 +\- hours to complete.  It breaks down to 75$ per man hour. In order to ensure this move went more efficient we had sent a 3rd guy to assist with the move. 3 guys at the 75$ per man hour adds up to 225$ per hour. Again our estimate we provided was for 9 +\- an hour, at 150$ per hour totaling: $1350final bill with 3 guys, at 225 per hour totaled: $1125in the end our final bill came in under what we had estimated. You can also see by our attachments she had agreed to our invoice, as we have all customers sign this prior to is beginning the work. This is to ensure everyone is on the same page before we begin our work. Also is a picture of our schedule for that day which also shows the information that applies to this job. Total bill $1125$225 less than what was estimated

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,
Mindy [redacted]Again the invoice was signed by me in regards to the insurance portion. The time and total cost were filled out after the job was completed. My boyfriend was with the mover when he filled out this information. I saw no document or their schedule prior to after the move was done. We agreed on the fee of $150 an hour. It was never told to me an estimated time of the move or that it would be an extra cost for another person. We agreed on $150 an hour and that if we wanted it to go faster we could help. That's it. He never discussed travel time from the shop or the extra fee. The price doubled from what we were estimating to pay. He mislead us on what he told us the cost would be  which is not fair.
