On 9/7 Wednesday I went to get an Inspection in Sansom Park Tx a suburb of (FT. Worth, TX) The Employee/Inspector of the Inspection station/garage --> "Running Tires," Formerly (A1 Tire & Muffler) in Sansom Park, TX backed my car out of its parking spot into another customers vehicle and damaged my car. I called 911 and the dispatcher sent a police officer. The police officer said its private property since accident was on business property and police officer would not file a police report for me. The police officer said we exchange information and that’s all and he ran the employees D.L.# Come to find out the Employee who wrecked my car had warrants out and the police officer let him go. Next the police officer left and as I was exchanging information with the business the business owner tells me they are not insured. I went and talked to my Insurance and they said they don’t have a way of finding out if this inspection station has insurance or not that all I can do is file a claim on my insurance in which I am not going to do, or I have the option to take business that is liable to small claims court. I was also advised to contact the Tx Dept of Public Safety and report the incident and that this business is running or operating uninsured, and get consultation from a civil attorney today over accident, amongst other things. can you offer some assistance of who to report this incident to? This Incident that this company is uninsured and caused damage to my car and others car and Contact the actual owner instead of the manager. So that this company is insured to protect future customers unaware, and hold Company responsible for meeting local/State ordinances to comply with business requirements governed like any other legit business has to do.
