Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/02/19) */
***
The client was advised of our hourly door rate and that we could not confirm her claim of a "5" minute programming fix prior to her visit
Her
private parts purchase was intended as a plug and play installationThe install completed by an independent person or company was installed not according to design, but hardwired directly into the wiring harness, potentially preventing a simple program update
Client was informed of this issue and agreed to allow additional diagnosis to accomplish the completion of the repairShe then moments later said she could wait no longer and to stop work, which we complied with
Our service staff and Manager were courteous and professional at all times despite the *** behavior which was in our opinion brought about by disbelief it wasn't anything other than a minute repair
Due to her *** demeanor and to make an attempt to defuse the situation, our manager offered a discount on the accumulated repair bill which the client agreed to and accepted
We will offer no further relief on this repairHowever, if the client would like the repair completed to *** specifications we would gladly offer her a reduced door rate after her agreement to the amount of the time required to complete the repair
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/02/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I was not informed of any hourly rate, and when I asked for an hourly rate and quote or information about prices I was told they would not know until they saw the carI was given no warning or information about pricing whatsoeverI asked for one thing and one thing only when I went to Rallye *** and that was to have the lights activatedThis shoukd have been the first thing they should have tried but they failed to even try itIf they were not able to activate the lights or if they truly did not know what I meant they should have turned me down and sent me awayInstead they did diagnostic work under the hood and to the lights themselves that I did not ask for need or authorize which is why the process took longer than the time I had for the serviceI did not ask for this workThey should have tried to activate the lights and if they did not activate (which is all they need to be working) they should have said so and sent me on my way immediatelyInstead they went ahead and did diagnostic work that I did not ask for, authorize, need or want so that they could charge me for it***The manager was in no way pleasant or personable and was extremely *** and *** The discount was **$ off which was metaphorically a slap in the face after being charged for work I did not need or want with the service I asked for not being completedThe shop did not give me any option when they claim I "agreed to allow additional diagnosis"Again, if they weren't able to complete the service I went in for, they should have been honest and sent me on my way so that I could leaveInstead they were ***t and charged me for work I did not need authorize or ask for
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2016/02/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
*** the mechanic who installed the fog lights confirmed before my visit to Rallye *** that the switch used to turn the lights on was getting power; and that the lights themselves were working (after being tested by applying volts of power from the battery to them)The only thing that was preventing the switch from turning the lights on was the middle piece: the cars computer (which was the piece that needed to be programmed using the Multi-useTester III)In summary, *** confirmed the lights themselves worked, and that there was power going from the switch to the cars computer, but the missing link was in the computer itself which again confirms the activation in the computer using the Multi-useTester III tool was necessary.I got this information (about having to use the *** only tool called the Multi useTester III) from the fog light instructions, a few different mechanic acquaintances, from all online forums, and from the PDF version of the fog light instructions, which to me were enough sources to confirm the activation was necessary and a standard procedure. All that is needed is to activate the lights through the computerThis also proves I did not need or ask for diagnostic work because all I needed was to have the lights activated through the computerThere was no request or need to have the hood popped or lights out of their socket or any labour fees associated with this service because I did not ask for or need or give permission to thisI would not have fought about the 30-minuites it took (in other words the fact that Rallye *** claims to not do minute jobs and will prolong jobs to charge people for labor without telling them)if the fog lights had been programmed with the multi useTester III tool when I left the building after the 30-minutes instead of 5-minutes like I had askedThis was the soul purpose for my visit as I made very clear and corrected *** more than once overAs I stated in my original letter, It would have been fine for me to pay the fee if I left with the lights activated, or it would have been fine for me to have to leave Rallye *** without functioning fog lights and having to visit another *** to have this done; but for them to charge me without doing the only thing I went in for, and instead, charging me for labour I did not give permission to do, want, need or authorize is simply not right or fairAlso I must add and correct the response that the shop manager was the *** most *** person I have ever talked to and failed to "maintain his *** and ***"Unless of course you consider *** to be professional behavior which I certainly do not.I would consider *** to be fairly professional to my face however the Shop manager was in no way professionalI still believe I am owed my money back or to have the switch turned on in the cars computer using the multi-useTester III toolMy money back because I paid for "work" or service I did not ask for, authorize, give permission to, want or need; or for the computer to be activated because I went in for that one purpose and was charged without having that single thing done or attemptedHope this clears up any confusion
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/02/23) */
As stated previouslyThe original installation by the client prevented *** authorized service procedures from accomplishing her desired results in the time expected by the clientOur technicians are factory trained and accomplished in servicing *** vehicles in manner that solves any issue and maintains the integrity of the manufacturer warranty requirements
The staff maintained their *** and *** throughout
We will not provide a refund for services providedWe will however continue to offer to complete the service at a reduced rate after it is mutually agreed by both parties on the time required to correctly install the lights as per *** Canada procedures

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/20) */
[redacted]
[redacted] The client visited our store multiple times, between those visits they...

shopped the same vehicle at a different dealership and found our price significantly lower.
"Interest Rates". Subvented rates are controlled by the manufacturer and are determined by the term of the loan selected by the client. The vehicle in question indeed qualifies for 0.0% up to a 60 month term. There may have been some confusion by both parties however any confusion there may have been was clarified before the client decided to purchase the vehicle. In fact the client left the store after the clarification then decided to return on a different day and continue with the purchase. The term the client selected qualifies for a rate of 0.99% which was clearly communicated to the client before, during and after her purchase decision.
"License". There is no line item on her purchase agreement for a charge of $[redacted] license fee. The client was not charged for ** license by our dealership. ** Auto dealers do not have the authority to provide license services to residents of[redacted]. We are however able to collect the proper provincial sales taxes. This means our[redacted] clients no longer need to pay the additional provincial tax when licensing their vehicle as it is included in the original purchase transaction. This is what was discussed with the client.
There is a charge for ** license of $[redacted]. The normal procedure for out of province clients is to register the vehicle as "unvalid" in ** and provide this registration to clients for registration by them in their province of residency. Due to the fact this vehicle was located at a different dealer and they did not provide the NVIS with the car delivered to us we were unable to provide this registration in a timely manner. Due to the additional delay of obtaining an unvalid registration the manager decided to send the NVIS directly to the client. Consequently the charge of $[redacted] for ** registration needs to be refunded to this client.
We will provide this refund cheque when we have received the outstanding graduation certificate promised from the client. This certificate validates a $[redacted] rebate claimed by the client for her benefit from [redacted]. This rebate was used to reduced the price of the vehicle as indicated on her purchase agreement.

Review: Back in October 2004, White Tower Roofing Corp. supposedly installed a new roof on my house. Since, then my kitchen and my sons bedroom ceiling, every time it rain water leak through. This been ongoing issues. Each times, I reached to White Tower Roofing Corp. the contractor come and check. But, the issue never gets resolution. Instead, my ceiling are so badly damage down to core of the ceiling that I to replace all wood frame of the damage area. In 2012, during hurricane Sandy, my roof complete gave up. When I reached to White Tower roofing Corp., again, the contractor blamed everything on new siding and claiming that the roofing materials may be at fault. When, I mentioned that I have contract with him and his company guarantee warranty for 30 years. He walked away and not holding up to his end of our contract. What the point of have a contract if the company will not stand behind it. Based on other, contractors that seem my roof, I will need to replace and repair the damage wood frame on my expense again. This, what the contract by White Tower roofing corp. should have covered me for.Desired Settlement: At this point, after nine years of nothing. I want my money back from White Tower Roofing Corp. They are liars and cheated me numerous times. They do not do what the say, they are going to do. they do not honor their agreement. I do not want White Tower Roofing Corp. to provide me with any service. I do not trust them to do what they need to do. I just want my money back, so I can get my roof done again. Before the winter.
