A1 Window Cleaning

The owner, Gerry Tomchinsky, took my money and never responded or showed up to finish the job. He ONLY takes cash, so you already are a little afraid to do business with this guy. But He came highly recommended by a friend that I trust completely. No response from several texts and never finished the job that he claimed he would warranty for 2 years. If anyth of this looks familiar in the complaints above, because it is and this is how Gerry operates.

Here is his SCAM. He'll charge you $225 CASH to fix your lanai sliders.
Gerry came to my home, he looked at my windows that need repairing and were getting stuck. He promised to make them easily slide like they should. Of course he could, he has 25 years of experience doing this. and gave me the price. He said he some materials that he didnt have in his vehicle and said he would return. Over an hour later, he returned with a can of grease spray from Lowes (which by the way is Lowes is only 6 minutes away from where I live and cost $7). he came back amd sprayed the doors and they were not much better than when he arrived, but he said just call him back and he'll return to fix them. He gave a 2 year warranty. A few months later I called and texted him asking for him to replace the rollers, because the original job did not work well. He never contacted me back to schedule a follow up, never did he return a text or a phone call. He ghosted me as he does with all the other customers he scams. His scam is to take your cash and provide no service. No response. DO NOT USE A1 Window Cleaning or do any business with Gerry Tomchinsky, as I am sure he has changed the name f his business, is no longer a registered business in FL. Please do a search on Gerry Tomchinsky (a1 Window Cleaning) and see all the customer complaints about him. He's a scammer and he will take your money with no regrets or intention to do any part of the job.

Gerry Tomchinsky came to my home 3/18/20. he looked at my windows that need repairing and gave me an estimate. He said he would need a little over $200 for parts. I gave it to him so he could order the parts. We scheduled a follow up which got complicated due to covid. Once he was able to operate, he continued to blow me off. He would not follow through on rescheduling and would cancel at the last minute with one excuse after another. One time he even said he would be here with "his guys" by 2pm. I reached back out at 3:15 and then 4pm. No response.

Recommend Highly for all your window needs. Honest company, showed up on time, had protective gear not only for himself, but for me & my wife as well. Professional & responsible!

Signed a contract with the company located in Sarasota, Florida to repair a broken shower door in September 2019 that included a $250.00 deposit. Contacted the company repeatedly because of the delay in repair. Through text messages they offered multiple excuses. I requested a refund and they replied that the owner became "terminally ill" and the company went through "an emergency change of ownership" but reassured me that a refund would be on the way soon. It has been over three months and still awaiting my refund. My experience is not unique. Feel free to look at their reviews on Yelp.
