on 2/8/14 I had a toe truck deliver my dark green 1992 Honda Prelude to A2Z Autowerks & Custom Paint for a engine rebuild. Upon arrival I spoke to the owner [redacted] who made a verbal agreement that my vehicle would be finished in 3 weeks prior to arrival. I paid all of the money upfront for the work being done on my vehicle. When the verbal agreement date came to I arrived at A2Z Autowerks & Custom Paint and spoke with the receptionist [redacted] who had informed me that they were still waiting on the arrival of my vehicle parts. My vehicle was still sitting in the same place it was when I dropped it off it was clear to me it had not been worked on at all. [redacted] the receptionist informed me that they needed more time for all the vehicle parts to be delivered via mail. I informed them that I would give them an additional 2 weeks to complete the job which would be equivalent to 5 weeks. It had reached the 5 week mark and I arrived at A2Z Autowerks & Custom Paint and was informed by [redacted] that my vehicle parts still hadn't arrived and my vehicle was still untouched. [redacted] had told me that my vehicle would definitely be finished by Wednesday April 9th 2014. I called A2Z Autowerks & Custom Paint on Wednesday April 9th 2014 and asked [redacted] the receptionist what time I could pick my vehicle up [redacted] had informed me that my vehicle wasn't finished that they were still waiting for parts. I asked why a verbal agreement was made if my vehicle wasn't going to be finished by the date I was given [redacted] then informed me that I was being a pest and that they couldn't give me a set date on when my vehicle would be finished after I was already given 2 pick up dates for my vehicle. Thursday April 10th I arrived at A2Z Autowerks & Custom Paint an spoke with [redacted] the owner I asked to see the parts that had been placed in my engine and they had spray painted my previous engine block and told me it was a new engine block. It was common sense that it was not the new engine block. I have chose to take legal action.Product_Or_Service: Turbo, Inter Cooler, Engine Block, etc.Desired SettlementI would like my vehicle completely repaired by 04/17/14 or a full refund on all money paid for ordered parts and vehicle labor.Business Response Issue was resolved shortly after customer made formal complaint to Revdex.com. Communication and relations with customer are in good standing.Consumer Response the situation regarding my dark green 1992 Honda prelude was not resolved. The business still has possession of my vehicle. They have failed to complete any work. Moreover I have been giving inaccurate pick up dates and in that process I have lost an additional $900 of the originally amount payed due to the fact that the business was not able to obtain a specific part needed for the original agreement. However I have compromised countless times only to receive the same answers leading to a dead end, I have no choice but to take legal actions towards A2Z Custom Paints & Auto Werks regarding my property ,money owed and money lost obtaining transportation. This business has obtained my property and money under false pretenses . it is Clair they lack integrity and cannot be trusted.

Paid for vehicle repairs, deadline for job never met, vehicle is still on now vacant property, and no progress has been made in nearly 4 months.I dropped off my vehicle in December to be repaired and was given a 2 week completion date. Money was requested and paid up-front for service and parts. After two weeks had passed with no progress, I was in contact with the owner and was given multiple excuses for the delay of service. After a month I was told there was a business fire in the beginning of December, that I was not informed of, which caused the business to shut down temporarily but was also told that my vehicle would still be worked on in the meantime. After four months, I have paid over a grand to this business and they still have my vehicle and the job doesn't even seem to be half way finished. The company appears to be shut down, signs removed, and no employees are ever on the premises. Meanwhile, my vehicle, along with others, is behind a locked gate. Communication with the owner is sparse and only possible through badgering on his personal line. Four months worth of run around and misleading delays and I have yet to receive neither my vehicle nor a refund for parts/services. Desired SettlementA full refund for labor costs and I want my vehicle as well as the parts that I paid for so that I can finally get it fixed.

Car was not worked on in the 2 months they had my it. have told me they had parts and were working on it. Now phone lines are dead and buisness closedI dropped off my car DEC 5 2014. they needs money they needed money to get started. I gave them 300 when I dropped it off to order parts. We had a verbal agreement to 3-4 days to complete the job. When it was over a week I called and they said they were still waiting on parts. So I gave them 1 more week. after that week went by I called again. They said they began cutting into my car but now had the parts. So I gave them another week. Since I needed a vehicle I had to get a rental that cost me 420. Now that they had the parts and "started working" on my car. they said it would be done before christmas. I called after new years and it still wasnt done. Now on JAN 30 2015 Phone lines are dead and business is closed. Desired SettlementWant my $300 back and compensation for the rental car $420. Is they got the job done went they said I wouldn't have had to get the rental. And I would like them to pay a different garage to complete the work
