The most horrible and unprofessional company I ever dealt with, the technician smelled horrible, was 3 hours late, did shabby work, didn't do what was quoted on the estimate, didn't clean up his mess and left a giant oil stain in my driveway from the truck, I will never use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone, the worst customer service I ever had in life....SHAME ON THEM!!

The water main line and cold water pipe have been installed, repaired and tested.  You can close the case the issue has been resolved, thank you for all your help.

Worst service ever. Completely Unprofessional. The technician comes in the morning with some tools/parts needed to do the job, works on removing the water heater tank and half-way through thinks that he can't do smoke pipe replacement and walks away after some word-exchange with his manager on the phone. I call the main office and they said, they are sending other technician in 1 hour. The other technician comes in 3 hours, again without full supplies of parts to change the smoke pipe. He claims to be back in 15 minutes after purchasing the parts but instead comes after 1 full hour, that too after me calling the main office again. In the process, they raise the price by $250 dollars and said if I don't agree, they will walk away again, leaving the mess as it is in my home. What could have been a 3 hour job, they did a whole day to do it. I have never seen such pathetic service company who does shows such unprofessional behavior. After finishing the work, no clean up, leaving all the mess as it is and just worried about getting the payment. On top of that, the technician who comes to see the job, quotes me DOUBLE the price in which they have done exact same job elsewhere. DO NOT use this company nor recommend this to any one. I am wondering how such companies are still in service and able to ripoff customers over and over again. Cheaters.

I usually do not write reviews-but I just must write this. One evening I came home from work and my bathroom was having a water backup issuse. Upon seeing this I went to my resident super for help; only to be told he was too busy to help-yep image that; anyway I decided to call a plumber. My first company I called was A-Absolute. the guy who came to my apt was more than kind he was respectful; also we both went to resurrect my building super, who did came to my apt to see what had happen. The A-Absolute plumber still with me until the super got his act together. Which was a comfort. Needless to say all is okay now. Yep I pick the right plumbing company.
Thanks

This job was completed by us and inspected by the plumbing inspector.  We are waiting for the customer to let us know that the water company is done connecting the water service to the street so we can come...

and turn on the water to the customer's house.  If there are any questions please call us at [redacted]

A steam pipe burst in January and this was the only plumber available. They replaced 30 ft of pipe from the radiator to the basement and they charged me $3,600. The job took no more than 4-5 hrs. They arrived around 10 and left by 2. To make matters worse I had to call them to come back and take the old pipes because they had left them behind in the ceiling!
After complaining to the owner about the outrageous $3,600 charge he discounted $200 from the bill, stating that the plumber should have offered me a $200 coupon.
After showing the plumbing work to family and friends who work in the construction industry they all agreed that I was grossly overcharged for the plumbing work performed. I am extremely embarrassed that I allowed myself to be taken advantage of. Do not place your trust in this company.

I am writing you in response to your letter regarding ID Number [redacted]. Our company did a job for the customer on June 18, 2014. When she called us back on June...

23rd we were running a little late. She then told us not to come. Enclosed please find a copy of her check that she has put a stop payment on. We also did her the favor to hold her check for almost two weeks before depositing it. We do not understand why she has filed a complaint. She stopped payment on her check and got her money back even though we are still wilting to come back out to her if she has any other issues with that toilet. If you have any questions please contact me at ([redacted]. Thank you.

Review: On Thursday January 23rd, I called A-Absolute Plumbing to set up an appointment for their offer of a "free estimate" to see the trouble I was having with my main sewer line. They immediately set up an appointment for that day, claiming someone would come out that day by 10am. My husband was home until 10am, and had to then go to work. I was already at work, and our Nanny would be home to let the technician in when he finally arrived around noon. The technician assessed the problem and asked our Nanny if he should start snaking the line. No price was given up front before the work was started as their advertising claims to always do. Therefore, there was no "free estimate" and although he had my number to contact me (I am the homeowner), I never received a call, nor was the price given to my Nanny. Upon completion of the job, 30 min later, the price was written up on an invoice. To everyone's surprise, he charged, $401.25 Upon research, the highest price I could find was $275 and the average was $150 for snaking a main line from the house to the street. The technician then "attempted" to run the credit card I had left. For some reason, he gave up trying, (nothing was wrong with our card) he simply gave up. He then collected a check for the invoice amount, from my Nanny. When my husband and I learned of the situation after all of this happened, we were furious and called the company directly speaking with the manager [redacted]. His resolution was to give us a coupon amount of $25 dollars off which is customary on such charges in the first place, and he said he would immediately rip up the check and charge our credit card (This was on Jan. 24th). On January 30, we realized that the check had also been cashed. Not only were we never given the estimate before the work, the company charged us twice! I called right away to complain and he continued to explain to me that his "guy" would never do a job without giving a price, essentially calling us liars.Desired Settlement: We feel like we were never given the option to choose whether or not to even give them our business, (which at that price we would NOT have used their services) and therefore taken advantage of. When I asked to speak to the technician who did the work and never gave the estimate, the manager said the guy wouldn't even remember us. The company is supposed to refund the 2nd payment (check) however this is not much of a resolution, but a given. We feel the original price should be adjusted to a reasonable one, not a $25 off "break" which is listed in their coupon section for any job over $200 in the first place. We should of had that off anyway. [redacted] admitted his prices were high but that any plumber would charge more after a lower estimate. Trying to resolve this issue and explain our dissatisfaction was beyond frustrating. We want others to be aware of this company's shady practices so others aren't put into this bate and switch situation with a dishonest company.

Review: I had a water tank installed, which is located in the 2nd floor of my condo. After a year, the pressure valve started dripping and leaked into my first for causing damage to my first floor ceiling. After my experience with Absolute Plumbing with the mean plumber and an experience after, I chose to use [redacted] for my plumbing services and have them look at the Hot Water Tank. The [redacted] plumber reviewed the Hot Water tank, and said the Hot water tank was installed incorrectly and not to inspection codes. The Absolute Plumbers didn't install Hot Water Pan, a Pressure valve pipe, and connection line that lead the water into the drainage system, and well incorrectly sized copper connectors. So when the pressure of the tank rises, the water had not where to go and damaged my 1st floor ceiling.Desired Settlement: Roto-Rooter did all the repairs for about $1,400. I want them to pay for all the repairs. What they did was absolutely wrong. My Invoice Number with Absolute was [redacted]

Review: A-Absolute was contracted to clear an obstruction in our main sewer line on 9-29-13. The mechanic could not clear the line and sold us an $8000 contract to replace the entire line. Two days later we contacted out local sewer authority and they informed us that there was a blockage in a section of the line that the mechanic failed to notice although he was in our basement and about 5 foot from the clean out location. Upon finding out the information from the township, we called A-Absolute back and they cleared the blockage. They were paid $450 for the work, the agreed price. Ten day later on Oct 11 we had to have them back to clear the blockage again. We were told by the mechanic that he could not get his equipment past 17 foot from the basement clean out and that there was a problem in the line, and again we would need to get the sewer line replaced. I had lost all faith in anything that A_Absolute were telling us and I contracted with another company to address the problem. The next company came in and ran a camera in the line, discovering no problems other than a accumulated build-up which they removed and restored the line to working order. Upon hearing this news, we called A-Absolute to complain about there service and were told by an office manager that they would refund us $200 for the work done, since they failed to complete the work they were paid for. You can reference invoices #2[redacted] and [redacted] All of the above information is on the work invoices, so I would find it hard for A-Absolute to dispute what their mechanics wrote. The only thing not in writing is the verbal promise to refund us $200 We have called them and were told they would get back to us and never did. I took them at their word from our initial conversation, and we are getting what I feel is a run around from them, hoping we will forget and let the matter drop.Desired Settlement: I would like for A-Absolute to honor their verbal promise to refund us $200. Most of the reason I lost faith in them to complete the job was that every time a mechanic was to our house, it seemed in their opinion that we needed an$8000 replacement line instead of being able to clear the existing line. The second company had no problem in getting my sewer line cleared. I got the impression that A-Absolute is in the business to sell construction rather than to provide the services for which they advertise.

I am writing you this letter in response to a letter we received from you regarding the above complaint. Our company had completed a job for the customer by snaking their sewer line. In order to satisfy the customer, we agreed to refund them $200. We had stated to the customer that we had to wait for their check to clear before issuing the

refund. Their check has now cléared and enclosed you will find a copy of the

refund check being sent to the customer. I feel the will now be satisfied.

If you have any further questions please contact me at

Review: I have an internet coupon printed and presented to service man that states: 1 hour service/free estimate- $69 off 10% off any service/any job.

There is nothing on the coupon that sates "$69 or 10% is dependant on final charge."

Service man was here for less than one hour. Service man spent time with "small talk" NOT service related. Service man refused to "give an estimate." Says it can be anywhere fom $200 to thousands depending on source of leaky shower. Service man refused to offer an "hourly" estimate also. I stated that other area plumbers charge $85 first hour, $120 next hour, can you tell me how many hours you will be here for an estimate - and is it comparative? service man could not say how many hours but said if its under an hour it would be probably the same.

It was just one hour (including his small talk) He charged $160.50 ($150 without tax). After seeing the coupon he took 10% off. Refused $69 saying it must be a more expensive job. If he had taken the $69 it would have been the relatively same cost a local plumber charges without a discount. This job was OVERPRICED in regard to the coupon and fair service value.

FALSE ADVERTISING. COUPON SHOULD SPECIFY THAT$69 IS ONLY APPLIED OVER A CERTAIN AMOUNT. This service is more expensive than other similar services yet falsey advertises that customer can save money.Desired Settlement: apology phone call, refunded $69 for coupon, change advrtising to include specifications for $69 discount and explain what a "free estimate" actually means, since I was not given one.

Review: We called A Absolute for a clogged toilet on 6/18/14. Tech came out and used a snake (closet auger-used for just toilets)to clear toilet. He then flushed the toilet and said it was clear, charging us 187.25 for the job (with a 7 day guarantee on our receipt)....On Monday morning 6/23/14 (5 days later)we had another clog and called them back under the guarantee...We were told they would come back by 12 noon and clear it, and if further work was needed, they would apply the amount we paid to the job. We waited ALL morning, received a call after 12 stating that they were running late and would be to us by 1p.m.... I called them back at 2 p.m. as they were a no-show. They acted surprised like this was my first call. We were told they'd get someone in about a half hour. I told them we can't keep waiting as we only have 1 bathroom in the house... We were being given the runaround. I told the man on the phone that I was calling someone else and hung up. We called another company to fix the problem... They have a 4 page ad in the yellow pages so business must be good. They get to you for the original call, but jerk you around when they need to come back...They claim 1 hour service, but that's a joke. I am disabled and need a toilet to be available for use.... RUN in the other direction from this company!!! They service you for the first call, but if you have a problem, they crap out...That's not customer service-that's fraud!!!Desired Settlement: We are going to stop payment on check, as we did not get what we paid for...If the check has been cashed, we want a refund....$187.25 for 4 days of a clear toilet-then NO SERVICE under guarantee??? SAD
