Napa Auto Center supposed to replace and fix oil and transmission fluid leaks in my 1999 Lexus GS 400. They charged me $2,700. When George the manager returned me the car not only he did not take care of the leaks, a lot of smoke comes out from the muffler. I went back and told him about it he just said that whatever they did has nothing to do with the smoke. I checked the invoice there it says they replaced valve cover gasket which I think why my car is smoking. The end of September 2019 I just renew my registration and I passed smog check. I told George that if it was smoking before there is no way I would put $2,700 on an old vehicle. The reason why I went back to this location is that two months ago they changed my other car's ac compressor I paid $1,400 for it and they did a good job.

Desired Outcome

Refund If I can get back the labor they charged me I am willing to pay for the parts. I don't want them to fix it because I just lost trust on this business specially the manager George.

The engine was replaced in my 2012 *** and since there are multiple leaks and damage as a result of incompetence. AA Auto will not respond.
Early February, I took my 2012 *** to AA Auto Care for a diagnostic of the check engine light. Mike informed me that I needed to replace the engine. The cost would be $4,500. I agreed to the repairs and Mike said he would wait a few weeks before ordering the block and assembly. It was a few months before I was able to pick the car up but was reassured the engine was repaired and in great condition. At this time, I was dealing with George, the manager of this location. George insisted that with all the storage fees, I would need $7500 to get my car out of the shop. We compromised at $6000 and I was on my way. Two days later, the check engine light came on and a note on the dash that I could not exceed 4000rpm. I called George @ AA Auto and he ordered a tow the following day. I asked the tow truck driver witness and report the oil leaks in my garage. George called to say I needed a new battery @ $300 and now the key fob does not work. I agreed to have them install a new battery. Four days later George called to come pick up my car. That evening the check engine and EPC lights appear on the dash and the FOB does not start the car. I make an appointment for Sept 14 at the *** dealership for a complete diagnostic. I learn the car has an aftermarket crankcase breather, leaking rear main seal, damaged oil pressure switch, missing oil tube cap, key not reading vehicle, battery testing bad and needed reprogramming. I pay for the battery reprogramming and diagnostic fees. On Sept 19, I take the car back to George at AA Auto. He assures me he will have mechanic comb through the engine and seal, repair, replace and broken seals and leaks. A few days later, I pick up the car and within 24 hours the check engine light is on again. On Sept 30, I take the car back to *** and after a thorough check of the engine, the diagnosis recommended to replace all crankcase components. My service advisor stated there were leaks, broken seals and lots of debris in the engine. He said it was "careless work and problems not resolved." The cost to replace these components is $3652.78. Oct 5, my husband contacts George at AA Auto, for the third time, he says he will take care of the problem and for me to bring the car in for servicing. I stop by AA Auto to speak with George and he suggests I sue the company and that he feels the mechanics were not equipped to service my car and if he had been managing at the time I initially brought the car in, he would have refused me. He suggested I sale the car at this point. I told him I just wanted me engine repaired and get the service I paid for. George said he would talk with the owner, John G. To date, I have not heard from George or John and George is refusing to honor the terms of the warranty of the engine.

Desired Outcome

AA Auto can reimburse me for the cost of the labor and parts of $4836.15 within 30 days. I can have to work done correctly at the ***.

I took my car in and they replaced the throttle body when I picked my car up the service light was on but and it was running worse than before.
The car was repaired on September 5, 2019 the service light was not on when I took it to the shop so I told the manager about the light and the car was running very hard he said just drive it for a distance and the light should go off or bring it back I will reset it. I told how the car was not idling right he said no it's purring like a kitten I told him no it was not running like this when I brought it in.When I took it back he said the car need a MAP Sensor I asked him why did he tell me that when I bought the car in, he said you know the car is old and things go out.I told him I could not afford to have it fixed and it wasn't like that before he worked on it. He said I can put a nice little package together for you because I applied for credit through them (***) is the name of the company. He said you have some more credit available, and also you have a massive power steering leak but he did not tell me any of this information when he did the work the first time.I told him no don't touch the car I will pick it up so my brother took me to get the car and he asked to speak to the manager so when he spoke with us he said the car is old and things go out. My brother told him the car was not running like that when I brought it in because my brother had driven the car about 200 miles and had the smog done,he told him it would have not passed the smog if the service light was on. We exchanged a few words and the manger told me if you don't like it file a complaint with the Revdex.com, I told him thank you I will. I have a copy of the work that was performed and the only thing was recommended all motor mounts.I financed a total of $1000.00 and I have to make 4 payments of $259.75 the first payment was deducted from my checking account on September 16, 2019.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund because the part I paid for did't seem to be the problem and I would not take my car back to them for anything.I want my car to run like it did before I took it to them.

Broke my window and blamed it on me
I needed a new battery. The service was performed and the car is operational. However, before I drove away I noticed that my driver side window won't roll down now. I did a u-turn and told the manager(George) who instantly became hostile. He said I coudlnt prove that it wasn't broken and if I wanted it fixed to SUE him. I've never been treated so rudely in my life, and now I have to figure out how to get my window fixed.

Desired Outcome

Fix my window. It worked before your "repairs" and now it's "mysteriously" broken. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR MISTAKE.

Took my car here for low maintenance and got my car back so messed up and they won't fix it with out me paying 3700 dollers off there mistake

7/16/18 took car in 7/19/18 brought car back because it was acting up was told didn't put enough miles on the car 7/28/18 brought back was driving so bad mike said take it to another shop but they where closed 7/30/18 brought back in and said it needs a new transmission I said it was fine when we brought it in to u guys rmike said well that guy isn't here and I said so I hhave to pay for his mistake and he didn't say anything 8/1/18 called district manager said he would get back to me 8/3/18 district manager said he would call me on Monday 8/6/18 3:23 took it in and the guy re printed up an invoice but didn't look at my car just put what the old invoice said and put today's date 8/6/18 called district manager still haven't got a ccall back

I recently had the following repairs done.Relace Spark Plugs and wires , Replace Distributor Cap.Remove and replace radiator and hoses.replace HEAD GASKET SET.MY TRUCK IS RUNNING SLUGGISH AND THE TIMING IS OFF .THE DISTRIBUTOR MAKES A FUNNY NOISE. MY TRUCK HAS ALSO DEVELOPED A OIL LEAK IT DID'NT HAVE. I HAVE TAKENED IT BACK TO THE SHOP TWICE ,WITHOUT REPAIRS BEING DONE. 2003
