I am writing to you for help and or direction on how to proceed with a company that has not treated me fairly on warranty work. To begin this company installed a hot water heater 6 years ago, that going by their tech who looked at it said it was rotted out. I called A.A. Beardsley on November 24 2014 and set an appointment to come look at it as they did. The water tank was under warranty and they were going to take care of it as I was told by the tech. Several weeks pasted with the tank getting worst and worst, and not hearing anything. I started calling on December 8th, Called every Monday and Wednesday with little to know answers "we have been very busy" "the owner has not been around" "the Mfg has not gotten back to us" and the last, which I believe to be the truth "we forgot about you and have to start the claim over"A tech showed up one day when I was not home as he needed some info on the water tank, seems they had a scheduled appointment that I was not told about. Unfortunately this happened 2 times this one and the day of install.Friday January 30th was the date of install, 7am the tech showed up again with out anyone at my home knowing about this appointment, no voicemail, no nothing. I asked the tech while there to replace a bad gauge. I went to work and let him and my [redacted] to know what was going on. A new warrantied tank was installed beside the old one, pipes were cut from the old and put on the new, Gauge I asked to be changed was not...Come to find out from asking my [redacted] who lives upstairs where the hot water is supplied. The tech left with out telling her it was done and Never Bled the system. I came home around 6pm that night to my [redacted] complaining of a cold house and no hot water. Called the company AA Beardley and it went to answering service, told them the issue and didn't get a call back as usual.I had to call my [redacted] who knows furnace systems to help me, basically hot water tank was never bled, furnace tripped a code as it was aware there was an issue (as I was told I am lucky this happened as the furnace/ water heater could of had damage if not) 10pm that night I finally had hot water again, no help from that company.3/6/2015 I received invoice #XXXXXX dated 2/23/2015 for $487.00, (Handling charge of 45.00, Copper tubing and fittings and install $62.00 and Labor of $380.00) Again I have called the company with no luck on a response, Thus being the reason I am writing for help. As I was told all was to be covered under warranty, with No estimate prior and now a bill for $487.00Desired SettlementSettlement would be to honor warranty, Honor that tech said all work will be taken care of, no estimate was given prior to bill!! Bill needs to be discarded!!Business Response This was a case of miscommunication and lack of communication. All has been resolves. [redacted]A. A. Beardsley, IncXXX-XXX-XXXX
