Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: We had contacted the rental place on many occasions about ten times and we were continually referred to at least five different people and extensionsWe believe that one of the people we spoke to was Laura .We are in process of going thru our records ,phone calls , American express to verify time , date framesI would also add that in early December we had called the rental place to inquire if rental was available for Mid April as we were going to attempt visit while my Cancer was slowed down.a;so asked if any early discounts were available .They asked me for my name and after a short delay informed me that NO rental was available !! I was shocked and asked why and was informed that it was NOT the rental season and it didnt start until mid MayLaura did in fact inform me that their response now was due to their lower rating from Revdex.comAnother person had called to inquire rental from them in early January for time frame from April until May and were indeed given rental rates with early discount booking , wonder why ? I guess when they have the monoply on rentals they can rent to who they want Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Again even though you elected to have CDW Waiver in place, it does not cover negligent damages, this has been explained to the customer numerous timesThe customer signed the contract and by a laws in the US and Alaska it is a binding contract.Because the customer disagrees with provisions in the Rental contract that she signed after the vehicle was damaged does not make the damage or expenses that occurred inv***d or unrealThe fact that the vehicle was damaged and the customer thinks or assumes that filing a grievance with anybody will negate the damage and there liability that occurred is not practical

My name is Laura H*** and I am the new Reservations Manager for ABC Motorhome & Rentals, IncI was recently made aware of customer complaint ID *** and asked to look into itOn February 22, 2017, I contacted Mr*** directlyHe was kind enough to explain his situation as I didn’t have
a copy of the complaint in handHe shared with me his diagnosis and that we did not refund his payment as quickly as we should haveMr*** filed his complaint the same day we had refunded his money. We absolutely provide full refunds to customers with medical cancellations in conjunction with a doctor’s noteIt’s my understanding that we did not get the doctor’s note right away and needed the doctor to send it a second timeJuly is our busiest month of the year, we send out between and rentals daily and it’s very possible that while we were waiting for the doctors note his refund didn’t get treated with the high priority it should haveIt is not my intention to make excuses for the delay, but hopefully to shed a little light on what might have caused itI’ve attached a copy of Mr*** invoice reflecting that we processed his full refund on 8/1/2017. While speaking with Mr*** he did share that he will be returning to Alaska in April of 2017, I offered him a 22’ motorhome at $a night in hopes we can mend this relationshipHe and his wife are discussing it

I am rejecting this response because:firstly I am very disappointed that ABC have taken so long to respond. We were not in a parking lot or reversing - a garage is not a parking lotThe parts for the damage were €and labour nine hours, we paid €This was out of season, so the extra three days you charged for down time again was unreasonable especially when it would only take nine hours to repair. We were told at the time if collection that the deposit would cover everything even if we wrote the RV off, ironically if we had it would have cost us lessI think it is resonable to request a refund of the $sine the $1,was more than enough.I did ask if we could appeal but was what I took to be a threat when I was told we could but our passports would be held.

Though were are truly sorry about the customers accident that occurred in a parking lot of a gas station , the customer was informed that the supplemental CDW Policy does not cover this incident that occurred.They were supplied with all documentation prior to leaving with a explanation of
the damages and charged according to the contract that they had signed.Though ABC understands that incidents like this happen, it is clearly stated in our contracts and signed by the customer that they would be responsible for all damages that are not covered under the CDW portion of our contract
