Wish a refund of $138 for service call were no services were rendered and for failure for follow through services described.I placed a call to aa express plumbing on Monday February 23, 2015 for a serice call for not having watet in my home since 2/21/15. Having a well and pump I assumed the water pump was broken. It had been very cold temperatures but I had left water dripping in numerous faucets..but alas I awoke to no water on Monday I called and was placed in line. Around 3 pm [redacted] came..unsure of time I have no bill or trip ticket. [redacted] said the pump was running and at that time I had very internment water...as if there was aie in the lines. [redacted] said that my pump needed to be moved but that it would have to be done later..there was too much water under the house. I made multiple calls to schedule this and constantly got the run around but on Wednesday the 25th the scheduler said that [redacted] & [redacted] would be there on Friday the 27th between 11 & 3. [redacted] showed up at 1045 looked around said I don't know where [redacted] is and left. I made Multiple calls to Aa express plumbing that afternoon only to get an answering machine...I have yet to receive a call back as of this date. I did not have water from [redacted]'s visit yet when [redacted] was here the pump was running. Yes indeed the pump was running as discovered by a new plumber on Saturday the 28th it was pumping water...GALLONS under my double wide trailer! This new plumber is going to move the pump and well bladder tomorrow. He said that I had been done a GREAT DISSERVICE by Aa express plumbing and that I should complain to the Revdex.com and request a refund through you.Desired SettlementRefund of check written for $138 on 2/23/15 ASAP This is not the way to treat a woman disabled in a wheelchair! Will refund $138.00 to customer.Request to know if licensed plumber preformed work under risk of health.Consumer Response It cost me OVER $1500 to have pump fixed. Additional I have to have waterremoved from under house as well as having company come and put mildewside under home! A licensed plumber did work on pump had to move it out from under house due to all the standing water under house. AA Express Plymbing was negligent leaving me with a pump that was pumping water under the house due to broken pipe! Water to house was very intermittent thus toilet wouldn't flush! If they cannot deal with a dirty toilet they're in the WRONG BUSINESS! They NEVER returned multiple phone calls made to them on Friday 2/27 about situation. Very unsatisfactory work ethic displayed by this company! Still wish refund of $138Final Business Response On 2/27 our office was closed when customer left a message that she was calling another plumbing company. There was no need for a return call. The office had told the customer she would need the water pumped out from under the home before repairs or replacement could be made. Our work ethic is very good, such that when the customer asked the tech to make the repairs himself instead of charging company rates, he refused and told her we don't work like that. The conditions of the toilet and under house was not a typical situation.Final Consumer Response Cannot find the complaint number but I did recieve a complete refund from AA EXPRESS PLUMBING of Atlantic Beach, NC! The service person did not know how to repair my problem and was about to damage the faucet. I stopped him and he charged me anyway.AA Express Plumbing Invoice #[redacted] invoice date 10/23/2015 with a due date 11/02/2015.I called AA Express Plumbing to repair two problems: (1) a leaking toilet and (2) a leaking faucet in our master bath. I explained to the lady who answers the telephone at AA that the leaking bath faucet was an expensive [redacted] faucet that used a cartridge. The young man from AA that showed up to do the repairs, did repair the leaking toilet in about 10 minutes. He then proceeded to the master bath to repair the faucet leak. When he first looked at the faucet, he commented that the cartridge had to be changed "from the bottom side." I knew at that moment that he had never repaired one of these faucets. I questioned him about this and he insisted he was correct. I let him continue and he attempted to remove the faucet. After about an hour, with no success, I was afraid that he was going to damage a rather expensive faucet. I made that comment to him and asked if he and his company would replace the faucet if he damaged it; he just grinned and said everyone will have the same problems that I am having. I told him to put everything back as it was and stop work before he damaged the faucet. After putting things back, he presented me a bill for $128.00 for his time. I refused to pay that amount because he was unable to repair the faucet. I called the lady who answers the telephone at AA and expressed my dissatisfaction. She said she would have "the boss" call me on Monday. On Monday, she called me and said the "owner" would settle the bill for $100.00. I told her that was unreasonable; I told her that I would be willing to pay their fee for a service call ($79.50) because the young man did fix the toilet but I felt it was unreasonable to charge me for time related to the faucet because (1) he did not know how to fix the problem and (2) he did not fix the problem. She said she would send me a bill for $100.00 which I have received.As I said, I will pay the service call fee of $79.50 if they will send me a bill for that amount. I truly feel that I have been taken advantage of by this company. They should not represent themselves as qualified to repair high-end fixtures. If I must pay the $100, I will do so to avoid damaging my credit. I just do not feel that I should have to compensate someone for their incompetence. In reality, if I were AA Express Plumbing, I would be embarrassed to charge me anything for this service trip. They used no materials. It is truly regretful that we had to resort to these efforts to just be treated fairly reasonably. Thanks to the Revdex.com for their efforts. Our hope is thatfolks will read these posts before hiring AA Express Plumbing for anything other than very basic repairs and ask for an upfront quote. I still believe that if they were truly sincere about being fair, they would have waived the entire charge considering we had to hire another service to handle the repairs.
