Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved*Hi ***,I appreciate your professionalism in all this and accepting my proposalThe fact that I disputed the chicken wire installation has not marred the fact you've done excellent work overall on the fence and were very competitive for the installI would still highly recommend your company, so if you have a review website of choice (***!, [redacted] , etc) I am more than happy to show pictures of the work and the job well doneThe gate lock issue is regrettable but a minor inconvenience which can be taken care of later as neededYou may send the check to my home in Derry where you installed the fencingI can send the address to you again, I just wasn't sure if I should add it here in the Revdex.com response. Thanks Regards, [redacted]

Not on a high horse or trying to swindle money it says here you where asking for $not $secondly you said everything was all set to my son both my sons as a matter of factAlso I bent over backwards for you with price and let you slide for almost weeks on payment And you also sent an email stating you took care of the chicken wire So at tbis point I would be willing to meet to see whats wrong and wouldnt be able to fix it until spring

Installed fence for customer when we were done with install had to wait almost 5 weeks for final payment as customer didnt have the money until his bonus check from work arrivedCustomer had a couple of issues with fence and gateWe showed up on a Sunday to correct the issues being the...

customer wanted to be home when we were thereSo we went on a SundayWe corrected all the issues that needed to be addressed, before we left we asked if there was anything else customer Stated all was goodCustomer then contacted me stating he felt he overpaid and that we missed a spot with the chicken wire but he took care of itSo personally I feel we fulfilled everything that the customer wanted fixed in a timely manner,as far as over paying he signed the contract knowing what the cost was of the fenceHe had trouble paying for it so I beleive he is just looking for moneyCustomer really wanted PVC fence but thought it was going to be to expensive to purchase so I helped him with that also giving him all material at my costAnd why wait almost 5 months to put in a complaint when we where there to fix the problems he had and he said everything was good before we leftThanks[redacted]A&A FENCE CONSTRUCTION

[redacted]My high horse comment was regarding the tone of your message as if to act like you were completely in the right which given the lack of response I had from you and the fixes that had to be done (and were documented) is certainly not the case. Regarding the fact you said I was "looking for money" is pretty clear. You believed I was trying to unjustly take money away from you, which in a word is to swindle. And lastly the disputed amount was $450 (the chicken wire) though I do see the form indicated $500 which was incorrect. To dispute an amount does not mean I am asking for that exact amount of money back, merely that I disagree with the fee paid in some respect or in this case $150 of the $450 as my initial letter did indicate.I am not here to argue semantics, so please do not attempt to make your initial assumption about me any better. You said what you said, and if you understand me better now I am happy to hear it. [redacted]On the note of price, I understand you were being competitive, there is no question about that, but that doesn't mean any business would deserve payment in full until a job is completed. According to our correspondence (which I can upload as needed), you only "completed" work on the fence during the same day I gave you the final check because you were busy and could not get to me sooner. Yes I asked to delay payment and you courteously accepted that request, but I think as a business owner you can appreciate only paying in full once the services have been fully executed and not before. [redacted]Though I appreciate you coming out in the spring to fix the gate, the one thing that would satisfy me more than anything else is getting a partial refund on the chicken wire of $150. On principle alone you provided a service which was not delivered upon and I understand mistakes happen, but if your team had done it right the first time I would not have had to wait for you to come back and fix your mistake or do it myself. The work proposal I have from A&A indicates you billed me $450 for laying the chicken wire and since it was incomplete and I had to do almost half the work anyway I am asking for the refund of $150 out of the $450, which I believe is fair. If you can offer a compelling reason why I should not get the partial refund, I am all ears and am more than willing to hear you out. While you think on it, put yourself in my shoes a moment and ask yourself, if you had a business do incomplete work for you and it was not done in the time-frame asked for, would you expect to pay the full amount?

[redacted], up until now I considered our relationship a professional one and I assumed you had gotten busy as I did, so this small repair went by the wayside. Now you accuse me of "looking for money"? That is rude, childish, and most of all untrue of you to lay claim to. If I was looking for money, why would I ask for $150 out of more the $6000? The $150 is chump change by comparison to the overall bill and what I thought would be fair considering all the work I had to do to fix the lack of buried chicken wire.  As for the fence, I am not asking for a refund,  I am asking you to do your job and make sure the fence post does not interfere with the gates. The last time your boys were out here they used a pole to basically "adjust" the fence back about 1/2 an inch by stamping the ground. A couple days later the ground around it settled out and it tilted back into position so at best that was a temporary fix. The corner post would likely need to be moved for a better solution. I attached the messages I sent you which clearly show a chain of largely unanswered messages and a picture of one of the unsecured sections around the fence which lacked wire.  The messages and attempts to contact you were months ago, but as you can see I did attempt to contact you a MANY times (as recently as September) but you never answered.  If you want more proof I can get eye witnesses for you and more messages, so how about you get off your high horse and at least answer me for once directly on the matter instead of throwing false accusation like I am trying to swindle you out of your money. If you don't believe me come test out your work for yourself and be a professional about this.
Regards,
