Thank you for letting us know of our customer's concern regarding our service. We will continue to look at this customer's issue to determine if we could have done anything better to serve him (and others). As for what I have determined so far, the customer had work done on...

his transmission and clutch in April of this year. Customer's car was test-driven and delivered in seemingly good shape as concerning the work we performed. Customer came back a week later and said his cruise control was not working. We made him an appointment on April 24 to look at it— which he later cancelled. He also did not show for at least one other appointment on May 6. He finally dropped it off to us so we could look at it on June 29, at which time we diagnosed a cracked clutch pedal bracket. We explained to him that the crack most likely occurred as a result of his bad clutch and transmission -as extra effortwas needed to try to engage the clutch before our repairs. It was NOT something we would have or should have detected during our repairs and testing. A cracked pedal bracket does not interfere with the operation of the clutch and transmission and that is what we checked for after our replacement of said Items. Further, the clutch pedal Is in the car under the dash — an area we were not involved in or had any reason to inspect. I do realize that this information — while clear and undeniable to us — could be not as clear cut to our customer and we would like to address that. As a goodwill gesture, we would be willing to install a new clutch pedal bracket at no labor charge. The customer will be responsible for the cost of the part only. We can buy it at our cost or the customer can buy it and we will install it for no charge. He can call and talk to Scott, Kyle or Steve @ 765-966-1555 for information. Finally, I read the customer comment - "I believe this business is dishonest and is trying to get over on people" - and am forced to call BULL That fact that he is ignorant of the mechanics or dynamics of the situation gives him no right to leap to those types of conclusions. We are ABOVE ALL ELSE a shop of Integrity and professionalism and intend to continue that as long as we are in business! I have been in the automotive business for 35 years and the technician who worked on the vehicle ran his own shop for over 20 years. it is hard to imagine continuing in business for that time frame with dishonest business practices and I am offended at this comment.Sincerely,Kyle S[redacted]
