Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:see attachment Sincerely, [redacted] I did NOT call AA PlumbingAfter having roofers come over and state there was no leak on my roof I then tried for over a week to get a plumber, any plumber, to come out with no successI then saw an ad by Home Advisor on a neighborhood web site and put in a request through themWithin minutes I had plumbing companies call ME, two were too far away and AA was the closest so I asked how soon they could come outMy nephew and I discovered the leak in a pipe in the ceiling on the second floorThey sent not one, but TWO plumbers out! One climbed onto the top roof and used a blow back (?) attachment to my hose, said it wasn’t cleared yet then used a snake to clear the blockageSaid they didn’t know where the blockage was so they were going to dig up the septic, I said we have never been on septic, when we bought the house we had hooked up to PUD’s sewage line so of course the septic wasn’t working! If the drain was not up to code I would imagine that PUD would have said something at the time since they’re the ones who put it in! At this time I asked how much this was going to cost and was told he would keep it under $After they started digging up my side yard he said something about a drywell (?) and started putting in drain pipeI asked again (for the 3rd time) how much this was costing and was told, again, we’ll keep it under $I now have a drain pipe that sticks up about a foot in my side yardIt’s my understanding that if you put in a new drain system you need to pull a permit with the county, in this case Snohomish countyHe then fixed the broken pipe upstairs (took about minutes and roughly $in parts) As they were leaving I was handed one bill for $476.08, which I paid, then he turned around and gave me another bill for $1,When I questioned him about the 2nd invoice, he said that one’s for the insurance company and walked away after stating “I expect to be paid”He knew my insurance company would not pay for the repair, only the damages caused by the leakAfter recovering from my shock, I called the insurance adjuster who was puzzled that the charges were so high and he contacted them with no success in getting a reduction I’ve only received ONE voicemail from this company and there was no mention of a price adjustment in itI would think that this would have been handled with the insurance adjuster when he questioned them about their rates and the necessity of having TWO plumbers come out before a check was even cut After receiving a check from my insurance company, I issued a check to AAA week later I received a letter from them stating they were putting a lien on my house unless I remitted paymentI emailed him to check with his office as I had an electronic copy of his receipt AND cashing of the check Since then I’ve had my nephew run a hose down the drain on my roof and the water did come out the drain along with a strong sewage smellThe water pooled on the ground and did not drain out of my yard AA Plumbing & Drain Team has not received ALL favorable reviewsI believe the owner is semi-retired and sub-contracts the work out and doesn’t keep a close eye on who he hires or maybe this is how he runs his business!

I am rejecting this response because:The Estimate I choose was for a RHEEM water heater, not a Bradford White which is a cheaper heater! I realized this after they installed the heater, because I google it and Rheem 5500Watt is more expensive than BradfordThat's where the owner screw me offI never said anything about a Stainless water heater, and I don't know why the owner bring that up? And YES, his plumber told me that he paid less than $for the water heater they installed! As you can see this business owner is insincere all the way to the bank! And that is why I said that I'll make sure he is not going to work in THIS AREA anymore! He deserves this!!!
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:The owner od "AA Plumbing & Drain Team" is a manipulator and a liar! I never, ever talk to him about the stainless water heaterI accepted for him to install a RHEEM 5,Watt (year warranty)! That was the estimate that I approved! $2,for a Rheem heater! He installed a Bradford White heater, a cheaper heater! THIS IS THE WHOLE PROBLEM! I do not expect that man to ever recognize it! So, for me it is real clear: don't ever let anybody start a job before I am going to see the parts/product they are going to install! The joke is on me this time!
Sincerely,

Received call from customer stating they had a leak in their ceiling coming from somewhere. They stated that 2 roofers had come out but could not detect cause of leak. Customer said it was still leaking and yet not raining. Thought was that line was plugged and the pipe full of water so we would...

have to clear line. Plumbers arrived and customer pointed out the leak. We repaired that leak which customer paid for. Other work was done that was to clear the roof drain. Had to cut the drain after trying to clear from the roof. Found the drain was not up to code and going into old septic or drywell which was not working. We cut line and re-routed line to an area beside the house and cleaned up yard in area so water ran away from house. At that time customer was happy, we presented the new bill that the insurance company was going to pay for, customer signed the new invoice where it says job was completed and satisfactory. We then received e-mail from customer stating they were going to write a bad review about us. Tried to call customer (3) times to discuss situation and possible price adjustment, left voicemail but no response. The insurance company paid customer in a week and customer paid us by Aug 4th. Customer never mentioned in their complaint the clearing of the line. We feel our review status of 4.5 to 5.0 of 650 reviews on Home Advisor shows the kind of work we do.

The plumber got on the job sight with new water heater.  As I arrived (me being Larry G[redacted], owner) the customer said that the water heater was supposed to be a stainless steellifetime gaurantee heater.  I then showed him the first estimate we sent to him that gave him (2) options and...

after we took measurements realized stainless heater would not fit indesignated area.  Then revised the estimate to a shorter heater but until I showed him the copy of the revised estimate (which he had a copy of) he was not going to change his mind.  The customer said it should be a Rheem not a Bradford-White.  I felt the Bradford was the better heater but with my plumber standing nearby, stated that we would go back to supply house and return with a Rheem if that is what he wanted.  Customer then decided to go ahead with installation of the Bradford.  We completed the job, he signed the invoice and paid the bill.I received a phone call March 17th in which the customer said I screwed him and he was not happy.  We discussed everything that had gone on and he said he found a heater on line for $500.00, however this cannot be the same heater for that money and my plumber would never tell him our cost and would not know anyway as these are ordered by the office, not the plumbers.  This was a bid job up front.   The last statement he made to me on the phone is "I will make sure you don't do business anymore".  This is our account of this job incidentRespectfully submitted, Larry G[redacted], Owner of AA Plumbing & Drain Team, Inc.

I did NOT call AA Plumbing. After having 2 roofers come over and state there was no leak on my roof I then tried for over a week to get a plumber, any plumber, to come out with no success. I then saw an ad by Home Advisor on a neighborhood web site and put in a request through them. Within 15 minutes I had 3 plumbing companies call ME, two were too far away and AA was the closest so I asked how soon they could come out. My nephew and I discovered the leak in a pipe in the ceiling on the second floor. They sent not one, but TWO plumbers out! One climbed onto the top roof and used a blow back (?) attachment to my hose, said it wasn’t cleared yet then used a snake to clear the blockage. Said they didn’t know where the blockage was so they were going to dig up the septic, I said we have never been on septic, when we bought the house we had hooked up to PUD’s sewage line so of course the septic wasn’t working! If the drain was not up to code I would imagine that PUD would have said something at the time since they’re the ones who put it in! At this time I asked how much this was going to cost and was told he would keep it under $500. After they started digging up my side yard he said something about a drywell (?) and started putting in drain pipe. I asked again (for the 3rd time) how much this was costing and was told, again, we’ll keep it under $500. I now have a drain pipe that sticks up about a foot in my side yard. It’s my understanding that if you put in a new drain system you need to pull a permit with the county, in this case Snohomish county. He then fixed the broken pipe upstairs (took about 15 minutes and roughly $30 in parts).
As they were leaving I was handed one bill for $476.08, which I paid, then he turned around and gave me another bill for $1,405.44. When I questioned him about the 2nd invoice, he said that one’s for the insurance company and walked away after stating “I expect to be paid”. He knew my insurance company would not pay for the repair, only the damages caused by the leak. After recovering from my shock, I called the insurance adjuster who was puzzled that the charges were so high and he contacted them with no success in getting a reduction.
I’ve only received ONE voicemail from this company and there was no mention of a price adjustment in it. I would think that this would have been handled with the insurance adjuster when he questioned them about their rates and the necessity of having TWO plumbers come out before a check was even cut.
After receiving a check from my insurance company, I issued a check to AA. A week later I received a letter from them stating they were putting a lien on my house unless I remitted payment. I emailed him to check with his office as I had an electronic copy of his receipt AND cashing of the check.
Since then I’ve had my nephew run a hose down the drain on my roof and the water did come out the drain……along with a strong sewage smell. The water pooled on the ground and did not drain out of my yard.
AA Plumbing & Drain Team has not received ALL favorable reviews. I believe the owner is semi-retired and sub-contracts the work out and doesn’t keep a close eye on who he hires or maybe this is how he runs his business!
