Review: My car was parked next door to a house, A & A Concrete Supply was involved in renovating on May 4. 2016. In the process the driver of the truck scratched my car. The driver wanted to handle the scratch on his own without involving the company. He came back by on May 6, 2016 to take my car to someone he knows to buff out the scratch. I let him take my car after he signed a note stating, that he took my car, the reason he took my car and on what dates. I assumed the reason he didnt want to just go through the company was because he had probably did this too many times before and may get fired, so I tried to help him out by not reporting it myself. Any who he came back with my car too fast so I asked an older male that I know to accompany me outside cause something wasn't right, that was too fast. When we get outside the scratch is still there. He says the guy who he was gonna have fix it didn't want to move his cars out to fix the little scratch. Meanwhile the older male that was with me, who is also a owner of a few [redacted] told me he can't buff that out, it would also have to be painted along with the whole side panel, the driver got an attitude then offered me $100 because the guy he knows was gonna do it for $60. After laughing a bit I declined his offer and told him I would be getting a few estimates and call him. I got the estimates and called him, he would say he would meet me at a certain time I'd be waiting then he'd call with excuses for why he cant make it. After dealing with him and him giving me the run around waisting my time I contacted the company to report the incident, they said they were waiting for the driver to write up the incident so that they can report it to their insurance company, then the insurance company would contact me. I never received that call. I called them and asked to speak with someone to get their insurance information I was repeatedly hung up on. So now I cant get them to take responsibility or get the amount in sale that im asking for due to this.Desired Settlement: I want them to take responsibulity and pay for the damage made on my [redacted].

Please read our response below to the above mentioned case. The matter reported by the Complainant on May 16, 2016 was resolved on June 8, 2016 as both parties reached an agreeable settlement amount for the damage done to the Complainants vehicle. A check was prepared that day and mailed to the Complainant. Policies and procedures are and have always been in place for our employees to report accidents immediately upon returning to the plant. Unfortunately our driver acted on his own behalf trying to resolve the matter himself and did not follow those procedures resulting in a delay in resolving the Complainants vehicle.
