Review: I had some almost new, expensive six ply tires on my jeep. However, I was getting flats driving down gravel roads. I was told I needed ten ply tires, because they are tougher.A&A Tires had some "Ten Ply" off road tires advertised at a good price on Craigslist. I bought a set of four of the tires. Even the receipt I got when I purchased the tires says "Ten Ply Tires". A few weeks later when I was washing my jeep I noticed that it said "six Ply" right on the side of the new tires that were supposed to be ten ply!I emailed A&A tires with my complaint and then called them. They refuse to make some kind of adjustment with me.I can prove everything I said - with receipts, pictures, and other documentation.

I would like to exchange these new six ply tires with new ten ply tires, at no additional cost because I never would have bought six ply tires when I already had like new six ply tires. A&A Tires is guilty of false advertising, and misrepresentation of the tires they installed on my Jeep.If A&A tires would prefer - I would at least like a free new matching spare tire like the ones I purchased, In case one of these these lesser quality tires gets a flat while I'm driving in the woods.

We at A&A Tires sold 4 tires to that customer Lt245/75r16 as LR-E 10ply tires but he complains that its not a LR-E tires.When I call the customer he said he can come at my store to show me that these tires are 6ply tires.He never show up.Then I call and he said he go to another store and they said its LR-E tires and its clearly written on tire.

Customer said he was wrong,got confused with plies and he excuse us.

If the customer still not satisfied he can go to any store and if they write it down that those tires are not LR_E tires We can give him full refund or anything customer wants.

The [redacted] for the tires I bought clearly says that the tires are 10ply. I have a copy of this [redacted] post by A&A tires. Available at your request.

The purchase receipt I have from A&A tires, clearly states 10Ply tires. Available upon request.

After I bought the tires, I later read on the side of the tire's I purchased "6 Ply". I included a picture of this in my original complaint.

There were some other letters and numbers on the tires, so I did some research on the internet to find out what they mean. And this is what I found - " Today's load range/ply ratings do not count the actual number of body ply layers used to make up the tires internal structure, but indicate an equivalent strength compared to early bias ply tires". I can provide this documentation upon request.

It turns out that the tires I purchased from A&A have a "Load Rating" of "E". It says this on the tires. I can provide this documentation.

The problem is that the tires were misrepresented! They appear to have a "Load Rating" of a 10Ply, However, they are "6Ply" tires.

I have documentation/receipts/pictures that my Jeep had almost new [redacted] tires on it when I drove into A&A Tires and bought their alleged 10Ply tires. I wanted tougher tires because the existing tires were getting flats on the gravel roads I travel.

While it is true that I received a call from Mr [redacted] and he offered me a refund, following is the problem..........

I already sold the [redacted] tires for a small fraction of what I paid for them. A practically new matching set, before I discovered the tires I bought were not as advertised. How can I return the tires I purchased from A&A for a refund? My old tires are gone! Am I supposed to drive home on my rims? This represents "actual" damages to me caused by A&A tires false advertising.

In my original complaint I suggested a remedy of A&A tires replacing the ones I bought with actual 10Ply tires. OR - to give me a new, identical spare tire - so if I get a flat/puncture/blow out with one of these cheap tires, I'm not stranded.

I did not get confused or excuse A&A tires like Mr [redacted] alleges. I have acted in good faith and have suggested a reasonable mitigation for this incident. IF I was vindictive, I could and might initiate a class action lawsuit against A&A tires for false advertising. If A&A wants to settle now - the offer is still open. Failure of A&A tires to resolve this issue will result in legal action.

We are still selling that brand as 10ply tires LR-E.

Tire shows clearly written 10P.R LR-E.

What customer is looking is this:

6ply(3 Polyster + 2 Steel+1 Nylon)

Sidewall 3Plies(3 polyster)

He's not counting side wall plies.

One more proof tires are 10 ply is air pressure(80PSI Clearly written on tires)

6 ply tires never take 80PSI.They take only 50 PSI.

These [redacted] tires we dont make them at our store if he think tires are misprint or something.He is welcome to talk to the company or whatever action he wanna take against them.

One more thing [redacted] company even don't make 6 ply tires in that size.here is the link what they make:
