I am in shock that a company can do whatever they want when it comes to the cost of retrieving your vehicle from impound for parking in a mall. My friends car was towed, he was quoted $370.00 to get his car back. When we arrived there were no payment options, just plain cash ! Car was towed from Trafalgar to Wyecrot Rd in Oakville. These people are making a killing. do not think this is proper. I can understand a hook up fee, and a fee for kms travelled, BUT PLEASE !!! Almost $400.00 for a half hours work and maybe $15.00 in fuel. There must some regulation on this [redacted] behaviour by the towing companys !

My car was towed by Phil's Towing for parking in a 3rd Line/Dundas parking lot on a Sunday morning. I concede I was wrong to park as I was visiting the hospital but the practices by this towing company are terrible. They are looking for every possible opportunity to tow people, they demand cash only and there phone manners are terrible. They charged by $299.45 cash to get my car out of the lot.
