Great service, prompt, professional and provided a well needed recommendation on a repair to our chimney that explained why the brick facing on our chimney was chipping away Reasonable pricing and very professional service done on our chimney in Glenmary, Fern Creek area in the Fall of I plan to ask Dallas if he will look at my chimney at our cabin at Lake Cumberland; that is how impressed we were When Donna says a service provider was excellent at our home I know they are top of the line as she has very high standards

So Today I respond with the "rule of "Law You had hours to cancel the contract"you didn't, there fore I owe you nithing I will install the liner for $And I will provide the liner, provided there are no hidden costs On another note: In my tenure as a Professional chimney Sweep, As previously mentioned, I have serviced nearly 21,chimney's and fireplaces and this is my th complaint out of 21, That makes my approval rating Thank you and God Bless *** *** Owner AAA American Chimney Sweep

I would love to say this gent worked as hard as he was pleasant on the phoneBut I did not see him workHe missed his inspection appointment without noticeSo I base my disappointment solely on standing around wondering if he would be so kind as to appear

I was impressed with the knowledge and experience of MrThomasHe took time to educate me on the use of my fireplaces and outside maintenance that may be neededA very fair price was charged, and he did not try to sell me any unnecessary servicesHe did call the day of to reschedule the first appointment that was madeThis was not a problem for me, but I could understand that in some situations it could beI would use this business again if needed

Thank you so much for returning my call, and the time you took with me. As I explained I would like this complaint to remain open. I categorically and emphatically deny Mr. [redacted]'s response to my complaint.  He has written a response full of rhetoric, untruths, and a damnation of my character. In his 1st sentence to call me "difficult for some unknown rea[redacted]" is completely out of line.  He has made up details that never happened. I can disprove almost every thing in his response with an invoice from his [redacted], a check that was cashed by his company, numerous text messages, and email communications. Not only did he never attempt to work with us; he never even returned 1 phone call. His texts and emails were full of the same non-factual unrelated information as his response to my complaint.  Further, in his response, Mr. [redacted] failed to address the single most important FACT to the original complaint.  We hired his company because his [redacted] would be the per[redacted] the work on our home. After the completion of the original job of a spray in liner, [redacted], my partner, and I came up with a plan to install a wood burning insert into our fireplace. I paid the required payment for the spray liner that was completed, and the amount of $500.00 for the deposit for [redacted] to purchase and install an additional liner necessary for a wood burning insert.   With [redacted]'s help, we picked a wood stove that would work.  As stated on numerous occasions, the stove was going to take 2-3 months to arrive. I already knew [redacted] to be of utmost character, and would have no rea[redacted] to cancel. Further I have no need to "Google Kentucky law on 72 hours cancellation" since we  already knew the stove would not arrive for 2-3 months. FACT: I wrote [redacted] 1 Check for $1100.00.  $600.00 for the work preformed, and $500.00 for the deposit for the liner to be installed.  At no time during this time in our home did [redacted] call his dad for any rea[redacted], or for any dollar amounts to quote us. FACT:  On July 28, [redacted] came to our home to install our liner into our fireplace. He knew that the insert was still a couple months out, but wanted to get the job done at that time.  He was missing a tool, or a part, but the liner itself was at our home.  He called his father, [redacted], who said he was going to bring the equipment that [redacted] needed.  After waiting a considerable amount of time, [redacted] came back in the home, and told us that his dad was not going to bring the part or tool they needed. He said his dad told him they would just do the job when the stove was delivered.  So [redacted] packed up all his things, and My liner and left. FACT: This job was never cancelled. AAA was there to do the job and they left without completing.  I never not intended to not have the job completed.  When the stove arrived, on October 31,  my business partner called [redacted] to get the job completed.  [redacted] advised that he and his dad had parted ways, and he ([redacted]) had opened his own company. He said his dad would have to complete the Job, or refund our $500.00 deposit.  We immediately called AAA Chimney Sweep.  Numerous messages, calls never returned. After text contact with my business partner Mr. [redacted] apologized, said he was busy, but would return our $500.00.All the rest of the facts are not important at this time.  They are in my original complaint. I just want my $500.00. I would not let a per[redacted] who tells this type of lies in my house. Since Mr. [redacted] chose to malign my character with lies and per[redacted]al comments. I have 2 per[redacted]al issues that I normally would never include with a business transaction.  I feel that Mr. [redacted] and his [redacted] split ways and parted company. I believe that I have been caught in the middle and Mr. [redacted] can't afford to return our money.  The second most per[redacted]al thing to me is it is now April. We had an extremely cold winter, I needed this stove to heat our home.  [redacted] I have been uncomfortable all winter, and that stove is still sitting on my living room floor 6 months later. All because that man could not honor his word and just return our money when he decided he was to busy to complete the job. Thank you, [redacted]

Our company policy is to refund anyone's money who has a legitimate complaint. We install two different types of crowns...elastomeric usually$350 and vinyl-concrete poured and formed, usually  $650.  I mistakenly mis-read the paperwork and applied a $350 crown instead of a $650...

crown.  This was brought to my attention by [redacted]  I politely apologized and told him I would put a $650. Crown on the next day.  I distinctly told him that he did not have to be there since it was all outside work.  I did this because I knew later that I would have to move some things in order to do it the next day.  I made no commitment as to the hour I would be there so I am not sure how their complaint could say I was four hours late.  [redacted] was formulated to go over bad concrete or other materials including elastomeric coating....which is what I did for [redacted]  They now have a $1000. Crown for $650. ( $350 for the first one, and $650 for the second vinyl crete).   If this were a product that I could take back, I would be happy to return their money if their was a legimate complaint.  I think [redacted] whom I did not negotiate with, thought poured and formed vinyl-crete was supposed to be poured 4" thick like sidewalk concrete.  Vinyl-crete was formulated specifically to be poured 1/2" thick and formed by hand wearing rubber gloves or by using a trowel.  I have used Vinyl-crete probably on a thousand or more chimney crowns and it performs better than regular concrete poured 4" thick.  For these reasons I will not be refunding any money to the [redacted]  As I said they have a thousand dollar crown for $650.  A great deal if you ask me.  By the way, I serviced my first chimney in 1978 and have serviced almost 21,000 personally.  I "know" chimney's!  I apologize again to the [redacted] and wish them much happiness in their newly purchased home.  [redacted] Owner AAA American Chimney Sweeps [redacted]
