AAA Appliance services

Review: AAA Appliance Services repair person provided incorrect information with regards to a diagnostic call on an appliance. They attempted to collect monies due for services they did not properly render.Desired Settlement: They submitted a claim for $141.30 for which they did not provide the services they promised. The desired settlement is for the company to withdraw their claim as we do not owe them anything. They also filed collection with Credit Bureau under false information; this needs to be withdrawn.

In response to BB8 letter dated 10/7/2013:

Every call we service has a flat rate labor and diagnostic charge of 105.00 plus tax. This is quoted to all customers including **. [redacted] prior to scheduling. This is calculated based on the amount of time we have to allot as well as gas, vehicle usage, etc. We can't control whether an appliance will be repairable or not or whether it will be worth repairing or not. The fee will be collected regardless of the outcome to cover our time and expenses. It is unfortunate that **. [redacted]'s appliance had more than one issue wrong with it. It is unfortunate that the parts to fix it are expensive. We do not control part pricing, the manufacturers set the price. But we are not the cause of the failure or the cause of her decision not to have it repaired. We offered to repair it at the quoted price. We also offered a second diagnostic since she seemed to have a lack of confidence in the first. She declined all we had to offer and simply felt she had no responsibility to pay for anything which is unacceptable to us. We have made two trips plus the offer of at least one more for the original quoted iabor/diagnostic price.

AAA Appliance was to fix an issue with a new washing machine, however could not find a problem, therefore billed me over $100. Washer is still not fixed so I refused to pay the bill. Even though I disputed the bill due to washer being under warranty, still not fixed, they turned the account over to collections. It now shows on my credit. They were rude and very unprofessional. Do yourself a favor, call someone else.
