Review: I had awnings installed in late October of 2013 at my home. Upon completion of the installation in our back yard we were not happy with the seam on the 2 pieces of trim at the bottom of the awning. The installer agreed it was not fitting correcting and we requested it be fixed on the day of install, but the installer said he would come out in the next few weeks to repair it. Frankly with the holidays and then the bad winter of 2013/2014 we did not go out to the yard and forgot about the problem until early May when we went to clean our yard. I contacted the office and they remembered that the repair had not been made and assured me that they would have someone out in the next week or two. I waited and called two or three additional times through June 13th. The two women I spoke with were very sympathetic and understanding but could not do much. I was then told that as soon as they had an installation in my area that they would make the repair. Now June 22nd, over 7 weeks later, we have still not had the work repaired. The owner, Walt, has been made aware and one of the phone calls I made on a weekend was answered by him. Again, he assured me it would be taken care of promptly. Frankly, I do not believe I should have to wait to have the repair complete.

Review: AAA Awning was contracted to install an awning and patio enclosure at my property on Feb 18th 2013 - It is now July 13th and while they have finally installed it, it leaks against the house when it rains into the enclosure and also against the outside into the enclosure - they assured us that we were paying for Hurricane proof windows and this would be an all season room - they installed the enclosure incorrectly without sealing it as they assembled it and also against the house itself - they have tried to repair the leaks with caulk but to no avail and are not returning my phone calls - a poor job that took very long and was not done correctly to prevent water leakage.Desired Settlement: $5,000 to replace Enclosure and start over with another contractor

AAA
Awning Company was contacted by [redacted] to come to his home to
measure and estimate an aluminum patio awning and screenroom with
storm panels and screens. On the contract there is nothing said about
a four season room or hurricane proof windows. The patio awning was
installed on cedar shake siding. There also was an aluminum roof there
before we put up our new one. We hung our awning in the same
location. [redacted] informed us that water was getting behind
the cedar shingles. They should have been cut out. [redacted] did not
want his shingles cut out because of the age of them and thought it
could cause more damage. This is a screen enclosure, not a four
season room with heat ,wood and insulation. His enclosure has an
awning on the left side which butts up to the enclosure. Water comes
off the front of the awning and the door that leads out of the
enclosure is below the front of the awning-meaning water comes off
the front of the window awning and floods out in front of the
door.Thats where the water comes in.I know he may have have other
places and we are willing to address them to a point . We will not
cut out his wall if his shingles are leaking. We will flash over the
the roof. If the kickplate is leaking on the panel we will seal it
with silicone. We will work with [redacted] I have attached a copy of
our contract. We also install front and side awnings on the enclosure
at no cost.
Sincerely,
