It is never our intention to send unwanted mail to anyone, however, it seems we are in a little bit of an uncontrollable situation There are two types of mailers that we send out from time to time The first type of mailer is to our data base (which it appears [redacted] is not a part of) These mailers go to anyone in our data base that has done business at Ray Skillman Hoosier Ford in the past It is very simple to remove someone from that mailing list but again that does not seem to be the situation The second type of mailer is what is called a saturation mailer where every mailbox in a particular zip code gets a mailer I spoke with the company we primarily use for this type of mailer and they confirmed they cannot remove an individual address for a saturation mailer We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause If [redacted] has any further concerns please have her reach out to me directly Sincerely, Dave [redacted] General Manager Ray Skillman Hoosier Ford 317-885-

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:In response to Mr [redacted] ’s comments, it must be nice to blame the customer for purchasing the wrong product due to his company’s shoddy product and installation I realize the product we purchased was not a steel building; however, I did expect the product we purchased to at least be suitable for our use, which was for storage of farm equipment, lawn equipment and other items found in garages It is NOT a carport; it was sold as a horse barn to which we added the doors to make it an enclosed buildingI also realize that we didn’t build a concrete base; however, we did spend $3,to have a base built for the barn At no time while we were in negotiations for the purchase of this “barn”, were we told that there could be a drainage problem with the dirt base Also, no mention was made of an upgrade in the metal I really like the statement that we “purchased a product unsuited for her needs, without disclosing to us what her needs were.” No one bothered to ask us what our needs were! We are not interested in moving the barn; we just want the problem corrected Based on Mr [redacted] ’s comments, we are stuck with this product unless we agree to pay to have it removed and rebuiltThis is not an option! We haven’t decided what further action we may take Mr [redacted] , you can be assured that we will tell everyone who asks about our barn just where it came from and the reasons they shouldn’t buy from Lelands You know what they say about an unsatisfied customer! Regards, [redacted] ***

When we received the vehicle, the customer had replaced the ignition switch and had one key. The steering column trim was left off when the vehicle arrived at the service department and there was no battery in the truck. We advised Mr *** that we would have to
cut another key in order to program. After we cut another key and programmed the keys to the truck the vehicle would not turn over. Upon further investigation we found the starter battery cable was disconnected, intake air tube was off and the mass air flow sensor was disconnected, instrument cluster was inoperable and someone had added wiring that appeared to not belong. This lead us to believe the vehicle had been worked on somewhere else. The service advisor asked Mr*** what all had been done to the vehicle and was informed only the ignition switch had been replaced. After both components were replaced the vehicle would turn over but had a massive fuel leak under the driver side of the cab. We advised Mr*** there were several issues going on with his truck. When Mr*** picked his keys up, we showed him where the fuel leak was. The leak was so severe the fuel was not reaching the fuel line at the injectors and the engine would not start. The original cost for this repair was $789. We adjusted the price down to the cost of the pats module, transceiver and hour labor of $due to the fact that we had the vehicle for a while trying to track down what ended up being several other issues. The amount Mr *** paid after we adjusted the bill was 268.23. We do not believe we owe Mr*** any further compensation. Sincerely,Dave E***General ManagerRay Skillman Hoosier Ford

At this time we will be mailing back all related documents that the customer has asked for in his resolutionWe will be retaining copies of all documents related to the attempt made to obtain financing for the customer as we are required to do so by federal lawIn regards to the
customer's complaint as to not using his pre-approval we attempted to, but the vehicle requested by the customer and the information provided to the lender were not compliant with the lender's policy's

It is never our intention to send unwanted mail to anyone, however, it seems we are in a little bit of an uncontrollable situation. There are two types of mailers that we send out from time to time. The first type of mailer is to our data base (which it appears *** ** *** is not a
part of). These mailers go to anyone in our data base that has done business at Ray Skillman Hoosier Ford in the past. It is very simple to remove someone from that mailing list but again that does not seem to be the situation. The second type of mailer is what is called a saturation mailer where every mailbox in a particular zip code gets a mailer. I spoke with the company we primarily use for this type of mailer and they confirmed they cannot remove an individual address for a saturation mailer. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If *** has any further concerns please have her reach out to me directly Sincerely, Dave *** General Manager Ray Skillman Hoosier Ford 317-885-

Regards,
[redacted] I have had other companies say that they could not remove my info from their records, but they did find a way. This really is an invasion of privacy that they continue to send me junk mail. I do no business with them, never will. I want to be removed from the list.

RE: ID [redacted] Attn: [redacted] To whom it may concern: After reviewing the customer's statement, we believe that the customer purchased the wrong product for her needs. She is comparing our carport barn to a steel building and that is who she contacted to review the building. He verified our...

position on the temperature changes causing the condensation, not improper construction. The carport was installed on the ground as per the customer's instructions (see attached signed order). it is not hard to believe that water could come underneath the wall, with no foundation. A steel building company like the customer contacted to review the carport would not have agreed to do it on dirt, but required a concrete foundation. This is additional cost that the customer could have chosen to do. Also, the referenced "holes in the roof and along the edge? is the laps on the metal. All metal sheets have this and any building will have these "holes". If you were to review our displays on our sales locations, you would see these "holes" as they are the nature of sheet metal. If the customer had chosen to pay for the upgrade, the metal could have been installed vertically, which while the "holes" would still be there, they would be less visible. They are not a leak concern and installed in accordance with how our carports are constructed, as evidenced by our display models being built the same. This also would have allowed for gutter to be installed, which was not specified at the point of sale. After reviewing the complaints by [redacted], it is apparent to us that she purchased a product unsuited for her needs, without disclosing to us what her needs were. We did not sell or construct for her an inferior carport. Comparing it to a steel building, there are quite a few differences, the main one being cost. An installed 1,248 sq ft carport for $10,476 is quite a bit less than a steel building with concrete floor. Since it seems evident that what the [redacted]'s purchased was not the building that they actually need, we are offering to remove the carport and refund 60% of their money. We feel that this is a fair offer since they have had the carport for a year and a half. We would be willing to move the carport and reinstall it on their provided concrete slab if they chose to pay for that. The cost to disassemble and reassemble the carport is 30% of original sales price. Also, should they choose to pay the upgrade to install vertical metal, we could do that as well. This would provide a similar building to the steel building they are comparing our carport to, but still would not fix arty condensation problems, since that is due to weather. We will await the [redacted]'s response to our offers.   [redacted] President
