Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint I am rejecting the response from The Vintage Apts because and I quote the manager said; "I encourage you to move out if that will make you happy." To respond to the comments about her not telling me to move outMaybe the word "encourage" needs to be reviewedAs far as the window unit we are on a bottom floor and the surrounding residents in my area are not the ideal type to allow such negligent behaviorMy "window unit" would have been taken out everyday before work As far as the comments I "have had many complaints", maybe if the apartment was kept up as it should be or we had access to the amentities on the property there would not be "many complaints"We have had half the years access to the pool, the ac units do not get the proper maintenance to ensure air quality nor performanceThis is among very few issues that The Vintage has dropped the ball onThey also are negligent on providing the hose for the car wash stationThey expect us to buy it nowThe property has went downhill and UNFORTUNATLEY the company has not had one manager to take ownership and be a true leaderThe current manager stares at the clock close to 6pm (closing time), claims to be there on the weekend but either is not there or has the sign to closed, does not answer the phones nor her assistant which is understandable when there are busy times, however, I have sat there and watched the phone ring and nobody answerAlso if they would check their voicemail and respond in a adequate manor that would show professionalismThe company does not understand these are people's homes, MY HOME! As the Property Manager of The Vintage Apartments, I am saddened to hear that Ms*** is dissatisfiedIt is my priorty to provide a comfortable home for each resident, and our company prides ourself in ensuring that residents are happy and valuedMs*** did call about her AC after
hours; however, it is our policy that AC calls are only considered an after hour emergency if the outside temperature is degrees or higherThe evening the work order was called the outside temperature was only degrees which made this call a non-emergencyI received the call on my personal cell phone, and I contacted Ms*** to assure her the call was not ignored and to explain our policyAfter hearing her dissatisfaction, I contacted *** my Maintenance Supervisor, and he agreed to go out and inspect the unit***l informed Ms*** that the unit needed freonDue to previous work orders during the week, we did not have enough freon to charge her unit***l informed her that the freon would be delivered and her unit would be charged the next dayMs*** was offered a window unit to decrease the indoor temperature for the night, but she declined
Ms*** has had multiple complaints during her residency at The Vintage, and I have only been the Property Manager since AugustAfter hearing her complaints, I told her that I understood her frustration and that I would understand if she did not want to remain a residentI did not tell her to move; I simply told her I wanted her to be happy with where she livedAs I previously said, it is my priorty for my residents to be happy and comfortable
The AC unit has since been replaced, and there have been no future complaintsShould Ms*** have future complaints, they will be handled timely and fairly like all other residents' complaintsShould further comments be needed, please do not hesitate to contact me.*** ***
