They were nasty, rude and unprofessional. The first dumpster they sent was rusted all the way around and had a huge hole in the bottom that we could barely put anything in. I called them for 4 days to come and rectify the problem. I was told to go and buy a board from home Depot for $20 and put it in to cover the hole. So basically they wanted me to spend $20 to throw away a board that they should have not brought that Dumpster. The man on the phone Angelo was very nasty and finally showed up, put a plastic piece over the hole and told me that that dumpster should never have been delivered and left. I had not anticipated needing more than a 10-yard dumpster. So I called them to come and take the one that was filled and replace it with a new one. That took another three days of calling them begging them and getting no response. When they did finally bring the new dumpster it was a better one. We filled that dumpster and on Friday morning at 6 a.m. without any warning they came to pick it up. Everyone in my house was sleeping and the dispatcher probably Angelo again demanded to have us move the cars so they could get the dumpster off our property. When my son-in-law refused to go up and wake me up he was cursed at. The dispatcher also told him that the driver was going to come into my house go up my stairs and wake me up to move the vehicles that were blocking the dumpster. Called the State Police explained that my family had been threatened. I was told to call them and make arrangements for them to pick up the dumpster. When I called the dispatcher was very nasty and rude so I told him he needed to speak to my attorney and hung up. And I proceeded to send an email detailing all the problems and arrange for a pickup of the dumpster through my attorney. And I got a nasty response back. The dispatcher also threatened to have the dumpster picked up and everything in it dumped on my driveway. This company is far from professional. Far from helpful. I would use any other carting company than this one.

This customer has actually no clue what they are talking about. This is a town contract. If she is not happy with the service she needs to contact the town.

Review: the garbage was not picked up on Tuesday may **. It is supposed to be picked up every Tuesday. This is not the first or second time they neglected to pick up. They also spilled glass on the road on Wednesday may **. When I called they were rude and were not helpful. They have no intention of cleaning up their mess or picking up their trash on time. Not to mention their holiday schedule is never consistent.Desired Settlement: I would like to see the glass cleaned up. I would also like a refund of this

Months charges. And trash to be picked up when it's supposed to. Everyone on lindy drive and surrounding streets should get a refund.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[The company is responsible for picking up the trash on Tuesdays and Fridays and have not done so. It is their job to do so, not the town's responsibility. And by them saying I have no clue what I am talking about is just plain rude. Obviously they don't want to do the job they have signed on for. If that is the case, they should give the job to someone who will do their job, picking up trash and recycling without making a mess on the street and picking up the trash on said assigned days. I will also be contacting the town in that AAA carting not only doesn't do their job which they are paid to do, but are rather rude people. If they don't want to do anything about this that's their problem but everyone who searches AAA Carting through Revdex.com should be able to see that they are using a company with no work ethic and rude people. I would never by choice use this disgrace of a company. No one else should have the displeasure of their so called "business".

Review: I have dealt with this company before, paid for my product and had no issue. Recently I rented from them again and they charged my bank account additional money without notice or authorization. They never disclosed any additional info about pending holds on my account and processed a hold without my knowledge or consent and never notified me they would be doing so.

My bank contacted the company and they lied to [redacted] about there process and disclosure and terms and conditions while I listened to the phone call.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of my money that is being held, and would have appreciated being informed that it was going to occur at all. Maybe I would have chosen to do business elsewhere if I had knowledge of how they operated. [redacted] told me they would reverse the charge and when my bank called to get the reversal number, they were told they would not reverse the charge. I scheduled a pick up for Friday 5/**/14 and when the bank asked about the pickup, they said they would pick up the dumpster Friday or Saturday.

They said they disclosed the info about the hold, but after speaking to several people, I was never once told about their hold policy..

In fairness in the past when I rented from them, I was told if there was an overage of weight I would be notified of any additional monies being charged. This time they just charged whatever they wanted to.. before they even picked up their dumpster...

Response:

We informed the customer of all the charges. We just put an authorization on the card it is not a charge. It is to protect our company from being beat out of the over weights. It is to protect us. It is exactly what a hotel does to protect them from damage done to their hotel.

Review: I am being charged for services not rendered. After several weeks of being in contact with this company from May * to approximately May ** I made one call a week to try to establish residential trash removal. Upon my final conversation with Pat, the owner's son, I canceled their service, making it clear I would not pursue or expect any service whatsoever. The owner was incredibly rude, and unprofessional, reluctant to give his name, or the owner's name, who I later learned is his own father. He was unappologetic regarding the hassel I had been through for almost 3 weeks. Now, over one month later, I have received a bill for the service they never actually provided. Also, since this ordeal began, their trucks, marked with very large AAA across the sides, drive past my home honking. When I contacted the company asking for the bill to be cleared, and to make sure I am not responsible for it I was told I would recieve a call from their billing representitive, and I have not. This company also goes by serveral names making it difficult to be certain who are speaking to and who is responsible.Desired Settlement: I would like the bill to be cleared out, provide a consist name, and improve customer service.

If the honking persists I will be contacting authorities.

At this time, I have not been contacted by AAA Carting & Rubbish Removal, Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: I will try to explain as best I can what transpired with the people at AAA Carting. I am not sure of the names of the players because in a conversation they would start being one person and then end the conversation with another name.

My husband arranged with [redacted] to have a 20 yard dumpster delivered on Friday, June *. They did not have a 20 yard dumpster so [redacted] said he would give us a 30 yard dumpster for the same price of $515 if we were paying cash. He asked my husband for a credit card to hold the reservation for the dumpster and the card would not be charged unless we did not pay. They delivered the dumpster on June * when we were not home and [redacted] said it wasn't a problem that we could pay when they picked it up. He told us we could keep the dumpster as long as we needed but just to keep in touch with him and we did. There was not a problem ever with [redacted] or any miscommunication with him.

On Monday, June ** my husband called [redacted] and said the dumpster could be picked up we were done with it. [redacted] told him the dumpster couldn't be picked up Monday but would be picked up Tuesday. My husband told [redacted] we wouldn't be home and that I would call him to let him know where we would "hide" the cash on the property for the driver to pick up. I called [redacted] right after my husband spoke with him and told him where I would put the money Tuesday morning in case I didn't see the driver before I left for work. Never once in any of the conversations with [redacted] did he say they needed a credit card to charge $200 in case the dumpster went over weight.

On Tuesday, June 24 [redacted] spoke with my husband and said they were running behind and couldn't get the dumpster but would get it tomorrow. He told him the money would be in the same spot that I said it would. On Wednesday, June ** at 7 am the driver [redacted] came to pick up the dumpster. I gave him the $515 in cash and asked for a receipt which he gave me. My next door neighbor was outside and we were talking as [redacted] was doing what he needed to do to. All of a sudden after [redacted] received a phone call he got in the truck and pulled out of my driveway. My neighbor and I both thought maybe he was repositioning the truck. My husband called and said that [redacted] called him and said the credit card was denied for payment. My husband argued with [redacted] saying why are you charging my credit card I had an arrangement with [redacted] to pay cash. [redacted] spoke to my husband very aggressively, he said, and was nasty to him on the phone and hung up on him twice.

When I called AAA myself at 7:15 I spoke with a few people. First he said [redacted] then he said [redacted] so I am not sure who I was speaking to. He was so nasty to me and said they can't pick up the dumpster without a credit card they can charge of $200 in case it went over weight. The whole time I was on the phone and he was on speaker my neighbor was outside with me. He was so nasty, rude and condescending. I asked him why didn't the driver just let me know that and we wouldn't have this problem instead of leaving. I got no straight answer. I told him do you realize you are speaking to a customer. He said we don't get treated like garbage and aren't going to take it. I said to him you set the whole tone of the conversation coming at me like I was stealing from you and you starting being nasty to me. He said and I quote "Just because I am being nasty to you does that give you the right to be nasty to me?" I wanted to say UHHHH yeah in a normal world yeah I am not letting you attack me. But I couldn't help but laugh and so did my neighbor. He said he was done with this conversation and hung up on me.

When I called back I got someone named [redacted] but it wasn't the same voice so who knows what their real name was and I finally gave him my credit card and at 7:39 am they charged my card $200 and I asked him if they will be coming back today and he said DEFINITELY!. When I got home Wednesday night and the dumpster was still there I called them and they were so nasty to me again and said no one ever told them they were coming back the same day. I asked if they were coming on Thursday and he said we can't give you a day when we get there we get there.

I spoke with my police department and they said to call AAA and see when they were coming which I had done and if the dumpster was still there to call them back and they would call. I then called [redacted] who called AAA Carting and told them that they would come yesterday Thursday June ** or first thing this morning Friday June ** and as of right now 3:00 pm the dumpster is still on my property.

I am not quite sure how to get them to come remove their dumpster.Desired Settlement: Come and remove the dumpster off my property

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

When I got home Friday night the dumpster had been removed. I am not quite sure if it was because I filed a complaint or called the Westchester Commissioners Office of Solid Waste. In any event I am still waiting to see if they say I went over the amount and charge my credit card to be spiteful. Thanks.

Response:

This customer repeated call out office over and over again screaming and yelling at us. They did not pay for the container and wanted us to pick it up and trust them. Unfortunately in this day and age you can not trust anyone. There credit cards were declined and they did not return phone calls. The husband continuously called out office over and over again and demanded we picked up the container without payment and with out us securing any back up in case the container went over weight. Once we got all the proper paperwork and information from the customer the container was picked up within 3 days which is the usual time we tell customers for pick up. The only delay and problems caused was from the customers refusal to pay and repeated declined credit cards.

Business

Response:

It has nothing at all to do with complaints that were filed since the customer lives in Putnam and they filed a compliant with Westchester County. We got the container removed when we had the chance. The customer should have paid for the container and supplied the necessary information and the container would have been picked up when they wanted. This complaint is just away to try and tarnish a record because there is no recourse against the consumer but there is against a business.

Review: I rented a dumpster from this company May 28 th and it was delivered May 30th I was told I keep as long as I would like and just to call when it was full. I stayed in contact with the company to ensure that it was alright ot keep it and it was comfirmed to call when it was full. I paid them by / debit/credit card in full $309.00. It seems they kept my credit on file with out neither my permission nor informing that they will. On July 7th I called them to pick up the dumpster for my home on the 8th and they agreed. However on the 8th they never showed up. However they charged my account without my consent $125.00 before picking the dumpster up and weighing it. Normal business practice is to pay for the delivery of the said dumpster upon or before arrival and after the pick -up (upon weight confirmation) called the consumer for approval to charge if they are any overages. This company neither informed me that they were going to charge my card nor did they tell us of this business practice upfront, thus making an unauthorized charge on my card. On July 8th I called to question the purchase and to question this bad practice and I was treated unprofessionally. When I asked for the name of the representative the representative, refuse my request. Upon the third request the representative told me "My name [redacted]" I replied, “that’s the name of my bank” and he responded, "correct". The representative stated that this practice is to validate if my card is a good card. When I question that since the same card paid for delivery how they can use my card without my permission. The representative denied taking money from my account refuse to provide me with a name and hung up the phone. I called back and was given to someone by the name of bobby who stated, “I am not interested in your argument I just want to know where you are" I told him this entire staff is rude then he replied “rude?” then he proceeded to hang up the phone on me six times. On three occasions this representative / someone from the company pretended to be a human answering machine. Moreover ,My husband called and Mr. [redacted] told my husband that they put a hold and it is like going to the restaurant when I questioned them and told him this was bad business practice since they did not inform us of this policy he responded by saying, “ I am not talking to you” and hung up once again. Note this company is holding our funds have not picked up their dumpster as yet It appears that since my town has made a yearly contract with this company without consent it seems that bullying customers making rules along the way is their policy.Desired Settlement: Remove their dumpster and release my funds

Response:

This customer was yelling and screaming at us and not discussing anything at all. We put a $125.00 hold on he card to hold encase the container was over the weight limit. It is no way a charge and we do not hold the money the bank does. This customer did not like that answer and wanted to continue to call and yell at every person she got on the phone. After speaking to her husband everything was resolved and there are no problems. This customer harassed us to the point where we almost called the police. She called called about 15 times. This is the only dispute she has with us she was not over charged by us because we do not have the money it is being held by the bank.
