February 17, 2016Dear [redacted] ,We appreciate the opportunity to address [redacted] ***'s concern regarding his membership duesAs a member organization we take such matters seriously and strive to resolve them promptly, We have reviewed all of the information and call recording and have reached out to [redacted] directly to resolve the concern.In an effort to promote AAA membership we routinely offer a variety of promotions to gain new members, in [redacted] ***'s case he received direct mail literature advertising a free associate membership and two months freeThis was a promotion directed and meant for non-members onlyHowever, we do realize that [redacted] received the promotion in error and we have taken steps to satisfy the situation and make good on the offer.We explained to [redacted] that it was never our intention to have an unsatisfied member and apologized for the errorWe have offered him a year free membership for his associate member and issued a $credit to his account, it was explained that we would not be able to extend the additional two months free, as that piece needed to be entered on a new customer level [redacted] was satisfied with the free associate complimentary for one year and AAA Central Penn considers this matter closed,Sincerely,Donna Z.Contact Center Manager

February 15, Dear [redacted] , We appreciate the opportunity to address [redacted] 's concern regarding the status of his year membershipAs a member organization we take such matters seriously and strive to promptly resolve themWe have reviewed all of the information and call recordings regarding [redacted] 's complaint and would like to take this opportunity to clarify any confusion[redacted] called our office on February 3, It was shared with him during the conversation with our representative that in the past AAA Central Penn ran a program offering year members a discounted rate of 50%, however that program has not existed in many yearsIt was also explained that to our knowledge there was not a National program offering free membership dues when years of membership is reached [redacted] joined AAA in another AAA Club area back in Our representative did explain that we cannot verify nor honor any programs that were offered in another club areaAt AAA Central Penn he has received any and all year member benefits that are available to himIn reviewing the information, AAA Central Penn did fail to contact [redacted] back per his request and that failure is being addressed to ensure we offer better follow through in the future, [redacted] is a valued member of AAA and we appreciate his years of membership, However, it is AAA Central Penn's decision to be consistent and fair to our other many year members and not discount or offer free membership dues at this time, [redacted] is welcome to contact us directly if he has any further questions or concerns, Sincerely, David GMember Relations Coordinator

We appreciate the opportunity to address Mr [redacted] 's concern regarding the warranty for his battery purchased through AAAAs a member organization we take member's concerns seriously and respond to their inquiries as soon as possibleAAA Central Penn provides mobile battery service to our members and will cover the battery against manufacturer's defects per the warranty termsAlthough Mr [redacted] is no longer a current member with AAA Central Penn we will still honor the battery warranty per the terms of the agreementThere would however be a charge for the mobile service as that portion is a member benefitThere would not be a service fee assessed if he were to bring the vehicle and the battery to our [redacted] **office in Lancaster which is a battery retail location.We have attempted to reach out to Mr [redacted] to discuss the options and to mutually resolve the concernAs of this time Mr [redacted] has not responded to our phone callsUntil we are able to speak with Mr [redacted] personally AAA Central Penn considers this matter closedSincerely, David G [redacted] III Member Relations Coordinator AAA Central Penn

Dear *** ***,We appreciate the opportunity to address *** *** ***’s inquiry concerning her experience with AAA’s Roadside AssistanceAs a member organization we take such concerns seriously and strive to promptly respond to any inquiryAAA Central
Penn’s goal is to provide safe and courteous roadside assistance as expeditiously to our members as possibleService response times are influenced by prevailing conditions such as weather, traffic, availability and safetyFor these reasons we do not state a specific arrival time for any roadside assistance requests in our membership policy or related publications.According to our records, the day of *** ***’s service event was very busy and our resources provided the most expedient assistance possible for the circumstancesIn regards to her request for reimbursement of her membership dues, *** *** has received AAA Roadside Assistance on a previous occasion and our policy states that no refunds will be provided after the initial 30-daysHer membership benefits will remain in effect until July 31, We do apologize that *** *** was inconvenienced and did not receive the level of service she expected.Thank you for your assistance and I hope this helps to resolve the matter involving Mona JohnsonSincerely,
