Ms. [redacted] has bombarded our office with many phone calls regarding her wish to “get her money back”. In her statement she admits that she agreed to the $166.00 emergency dispatch fee. A copy of her signed invoice for the dispatch fee is attached. Our customer service representatives are not...

electricians; consequently they do not, and are instructed not to, quote pricing over the phone. Customers calling in are told that when the technician arrives he will address their concerns, go over their options and offer them a straight forward price in writing. They are also told that prior to doing any work they will know the exact cost of the job - all they have to do is authorize him to do the work and he can start same day. And they are told that we do not work by the hour but by the job so no matter how long it takes us, or if we has to get parts, it is on us - not them. When our technician arrived at Ms. [redacted]s father’s condo, the father said that he wanted the panel replaced. When the technician asked him why his reply was that it was old and parts would be hard to find. The technician offered an evaluation/diagnostic that would allow him to track down the problem and perform minor repair. The father, upon hearing the diagnostic fee became very hostile, abusive and rude; he tore up our card and told our technician to get the ----- out of his house. Ms. [redacted] was present during the confrontation. She has called out office many times demanding her money back. She agreed to the dispatch on the phone and also signed for it at the job site. She and her father have stated that they had the work done for $150.00 - if that is so it could not have been by a licensed electrician nor for that price anything but the possible tightening of wires, etc. We would like to see receipts as proof of the service and what service was actually provided.

This review is specifically directed towards C.F[redacted] Absolutely the best interaction I've ever had with a contractor. He showed up exactly on time and was extremely professional in the way he went about his business. He was polite and took the time to explain to me what he was doing and more importantly, why. Prior to leaving the job site, he cleaned up the work area, assisted me in answering questions for my insurance agent (who told me that she was very impressed with his write up, and wished all the contractors that she had to deal with were this precise in their reporting.) Because of C.F[redacted] this will always be my go to company from now on. Thank you so much.

The Service Technician, Calen F[redacted] was did an excellent job of listening to our electrical problems and then also when explaining to us what exactly he would be doing. We received A+ service and are very, very satisfied! Thank you.

We had some electrical issues in one room which extended to the adjacent room. Placed a call to AAA Electrical Services and they were out the very next day! Keith Clark and Frank Swan showed up on time and were very professional. They represented AAA Services well. They were both very knowledgable and explained exactly how AAA Services works. They provided us a quote and no additional hidden fees! They kept us in the loop when they located the problem and explained how they were going to fix the problem. They also took the time to provide us with a preventive program that AAA Services offers however, they DID NOT apply any pressure to purchase the plan! For having something so major as electrical issues, these two guys made a terrifying experience quite pleasant as the cost was not nearly what we thought we would have to spend. Thank you AAA Service for hiring knowledge, decent, kind people such as Keith Clark and Frank Swan. We will highly recommend your company to all!

Review: Having no electric power in over half my house including no AC or kitchen power during a100 degree heat wave I desperately called AAA. I was told they would arrive the next day during a 2 hour window. Four hours later the tech arrived. He told me it would cost $600+ to diagnose and repair. With the understanding my electrical problems would be corrected, he came back and said it would take an additional $3k to complete the work but I must close out and pay the initial amount. Which I felt I had no other option but to do so given I could not remain in my house for health reasons. I waited patiently in over 100 degrees in excess of one hour to get an estimate. Only to be told it would be emailed to me and I would be contacted to schedule the work. I received no estimate and no contact to complete the promised work. I have reached out to AAA to get a refund for services not performed (repair of problem) They have been incredibly slow to respond and indicated they completed everything per their policies and procedures. They still have failed to provide me with a written estimate for the additional work that would be required on their end to compelete the repair Desperate I had to look else where to resolve this situation. I feel AAA failed to deliver as promised and took unfair advantage of this situation. Please feel free to request a copy of my invoice which states I paid for a diagnosis and repair. I have tried patiently to get this resolved, but AAA has been less than responsive!Desired Settlement: Refund for failure to repair. I will assume the cost for the $59 service call.

I am rejecting this response because: My issue in this complaint is the $659.96 I paid to have AAA diagnose and repair my electricsl services. Which clearly did not happen. As an initial courtesy, in the effort to help resolve this issue, I complied with your request and faxed a copy of the invoice for the completed work done by another electrician. The invoice was only altered to remove the electrician's name, which is fair given they are competitors. Ultimately the work done by another company is not in question and irrelevant. While I have done all I can to seek a fair resolution, this is once again an attempt to delay the resolution process and deflect from AAA's responsibility.

Review: I scheduled an appointment for service to take care of an electrical problem. When I scheduled the receptionist told me it would be 166.00 for a trip fee, I agreed to that. When the technician arrived he stated there would be a fee of 990.00 to trouble shoot the problem and then an additional fee when he figured out the problem to do the repair. When I scheduled the appointment there was never once a mention that they charge 990.00 to trouble shoot. Most electricians charge approximately 100.00 per hour. I was in shock when he said 990.00 to trouble shoot I told him to leave because that amount is outrageous I was expecting the normal 100.00 per hour charge. He then stated that I still needed to pay the trip fee which I did. But after he left I felt I should not have paid the trip fee. They are taking advantage of people because most people don't know what an electrician charges and they tell you well it is really expensive to have electrical work done and that is true but their prices are outrageous.Desired Settlement: refund me the 166.00
