Don't recommend AAA, know it all just want cash in parts and labor, give a hoot about customer or needy resident with door problems

I had me garage doors and openers installed by this company in August of In April of my spring broke on one of the doorsAt that time the technician that came out told me that they had installed the wrong openers for my garage, stating that they should have installed a low profile barHence the opener had worn a hole in the top of the garage doorI had a second problem in with the other doorThat technician also stated the same thing and said that way why the bar on the second door brokeHe called his boss and informed him of the issue and why it happened and they still wanted to charge me $250.00+ to fix it, even though it broke due to their error of installing the wrong equipment to begin with I refused to let them fix itNow the spring that broke previously has broken againI called the company about it to see about a warranty and got the "we don't show that we put that spring in"!! I had to go digging through my paper work to find the receipt and demand they fix it due to it having a life time warrantySupposedly they do not have records past due to a computer error, so if I had not kept my receipt I would have been out of luck as they are not smart enough to back up their system!! Their customer service is horribleI have to pay $service fee for them to come out, so basically I'm buying the spring yet againThey do not install the correct items, do not stand behind their work, and try and rip you off if you dare to call about something that is wrongBuyer bewareI would avoid this companyI, unfortunately, am stuck with them for now

Called the number on my garage door and another company picked up saying they were AAA Garage Door now. They had a repair guy come out and replace the torsion springs, but he used two different sizes and then didn't balance the door (which needed to be done now that he used two different sizes). So now the door is not balanced, which causes significant wear on the door and the opener, not to mention that it is dangerous! I've left voicemails, emailed, tweeted, and facebook messaged, but no one replies. I'm starting to think this is a rip-off outfit.

In October of 2011, I had AAA Garage Services replace the springs on my garage door. The parts were documented to have a lifetime warranty. Normal wear and tear on new quality springs should last for 15k to 60k openings. Even if I opened the door 4 times a day, every day, these springs lasted through only 4K openings. This was the first issue. The second issue is that when I called to schedule a replacement, the genteleman after taking my zip code proceeded to inform me that weren't in Tampa any more. Then commented that they would be again in a couple of weeks. When I asked what I should do to have the parts replaced under the warranty I purchased through them, the gentleman responded with "I don't know." When I responded with "it sounds like my only option is to report them to the Revdex.com", the gentleman responded with "OK." and that was the end of the conversation. To get my issue resolved, I had to call a different company and pay for new springs while I had a lifetime warranty on the broken ones already through AAA.

After submitting a negative review, the company AAA reached out to me and proceeded in offering an accountable resolution and I would like to acknowledge their efforts. I hope they continue to do the right thing for servicing the public. Moving forward, this is a positive direction.
