Landscaping worked very hard to resolve the issue with C[redacted].
When she called our office extremely emotional because her...

irrigation ran
for hours, we followed our companies procedures and fixed the problem.
In an attempt to satisfy her complaints, we drastically discounted her
total bill.  C[redacted] still refused to pay for all the repairs done.
In regards to the vines, only earlier this month did she pick which vines she
wanted and they were ordered immediately from a company down south.  We
tried to keep C[redacted] as a customer, but ended up terminating our professional
relationship.  After that, C[redacted] posted false information in a few Yelp
reviews, which were determined to be untrue and were removed.
Unfortunately, this is just an attempt to skip out on her bill.

I am rejecting this response because: It is false.
1. I emailed AAA landscaping to "take a look". (see attached email and response). I assumed they would diagnose the issue and send a quote for repair. I did NOT request them to come fix the leak.
2. AAA landscaping replaced the "top half of a valve" and claimed to have tested it several times and it opened and closed properly, however the first day it was actually used, it did not close-causing hours of water loss. (see attached email) It could not have possibly been tested if it didn't even work the first time. Our water bill was higher and we were out of town for two weeks with the water off. Should this unprofessional behavior continue I will also be requesting a monetary reimbursement for the water loss resulting from the incomplete and unauthorized work done to our system.
3. AAA landscaping had been working on our property for many months before the major hedge work was required. The bi-monthly maintenance we had been paying for included shrubs and hedges (see attached invoice with details of what our service includes). If they were not a maintainable level it was because the workers had not been doing their job and keeping the hedges at an appropriate height. One year later, they were out of control again due to the negligence of AAA landscaping. How could they be so out of control if they were doing their job and "maintaining" their work? Please see attached photo of our side hedges which have not been trimmed in at least six months, possibly a year. This hedge is shared with our neighbor, whose landscapers trim their side of the hedge. Notice the difference from our side (left) and their side (right).

I will never hire Bill [redacted] again! He is unprofessional, and frankly, more than a little odd.

Review: My sprinkler was seeping water and I asked them to 'take a look.' Without authorization from me, they decided to replace the sprinkler and two other sprinkler heads and replace 1 leaking valve and clean the other two. We would have been fine with the fix (and extra unnecessary additions)-had it worked. However, they did not fully test their work and the next day our sprinklers went on at 4 am and never turned off!! So they were running from 4-8am!! When I realized they were on, I tried to manually turn off and they would not. I had to have the neighbor's gardener help me! S[redacted] sent the worker back out to finish the job. They then billed us for both days! ($300) However the problem was not even fixed. They never even checked in to see if the system was still seeping water. We left for vacation and had the water off for two weeks. When we got back, we realized the next sprinklers up the line were seeping. This was because instead of fixing the issue, they replaced the sprinkler with a stop valve, so the problem just moved up the line to the next ones. We had to call them out again to fix the issue. another $150- (S[redacted] said that he initially only replaced the top part of the valve to "save us money" and the entire valve would cost about $80 to install.) Well, his "save us money" route was now billed at almost $500. I don't feel it is right to bill your customers 3 times for a fix that should have taken one time to fix. If you can't fix the issue, you don't bill for each attempt to try. You also should communicate with your customer and you give options before trying experimental fixes. I never even authorized them to fix it in the first place-only 'take a look' Feeling a little fleeced over here! I don't think it's right to pay for failed service and broken systems. I also paid for hedge trimming in my bi-monthly servicing and have been complaining for months to them about the high hedges. They told me they would be trimmed 8.28 and they never finished the job.Desired Settlement: I would like Invoice #7620 for the first two services deleted. I would like a credit for the cost of hedge trimming, which I am going to have to pay another professional to perform.

I am rejecting this response because: They are not addressing the actual issues. Here are the three issues.1. I never authorized AAA landscaping to replace valves/sprinklers on the 7/14 service, I asked them to "take a look at a leak." They replaced things anyway and didn't even fix the issue or follow up to see if it was fixed. The initial issue was not fixed until August 5th. They said they would give me a discount on that fix and it would be around $80, however I said I would be happy to fully pay for the service that I authorized and would pay for the actual time and cost. They sent a bill for $156.04. 2. I did call them frantically about the sprinklers on 7/15, but the work they did on 7/14 was the cause of the problem. Had they never worked on the valve 7/14, the 7/15 issue would not have occurred. They are still billing me for fixing the sprinkler system they broke ($188.52). 3. I have been paying a $95 monthly maintenance service which is supposed to include keeping the hedges trimmed. They have not been trimming the side hedges. AAA landscaping promised in an email they would be trimmed on the August 28th service and they were not. I now have to pay a different contractor to trim my hedges because AAA Landscaping refused to provide the service.
