Home Care Services Consumer Protection Act that took effect January 1, 2016. B13.Do current home care aides that we have run through DOJ upon hire need to be run through again?Yes, current Home Care Aides who are affiliated with a Home Care Organization or who choose to be registered as independent Home Care Aides are required to complete the application process which includes submitting new fingerprints for the Community Care Licensing Division. Home Care Aides with existing clearances for the Community Care Licensing Division licensed facilities or TrustLine and Home Care Aides with the Community Care Licensing Division criminal record exemptions will not be required to submit new fingerprintsThe clearance or criminal record exemption may be transferred to the Home Care Organization or the registry. Mr *** stated in his tesponse letter thatvI had been fingerprinted in July 2014 I am Home Care Aide with existing clearence will not be required to submit new fingerprints They will be transferred to Home Care Organization Mr *** is incorrect this is from therewebsite I am a woman of Integrity I did not return to there office we spoke over the phone I would never behave In such a distasteful manner All I want is honesty and my money Returned. I understand we make mistake but to not have moral standardsIs shameful*** ***

We fingerprinted Ms *** on July 28th, as an employee of a dept of social services classification of an employee of a residential care facility for the elderly.On March 7,Ms *** came to our office and presented our employee [ *** ***] with a request for live scan form to be
fingerprinted as a home care aide.This home care aide classification is a new class dictated by the passage of the Home Care Services Consumer Protection Act that took effect January 1, 2016At some point after leaving our office she said she had a conversation with the dept of social servicesIn that conversation, she was told that once a person is cleared to work under that classification they do not have to get get cleared againThat is correct, however the the 1st time we fingerprinted her back in it was for a different classification.A few days later she returned to our office armed with that partially correct information*** tried to explain the differences in the classification to Ms ***.At that point Ms *** became quite rude and unprofessional to *** and demanded to "talk to the owner" Ms *** called me and accused *** of lying to her and ripping her offI tried to explain the rules and regulations by which adhere to in respect dept of social services mandates.At that point, she became very rude and threatening to meAfter hanging up from this conversation I contacted her employer, Mr *** *** the owner of At Home Care of San Diego and told him of the conversations between her and myself and ***He said she was acting like she has acted in the past with other peopleI would strongly request you verify all of my statements I've made in this response both with the Ca Dept of Social Services ans Mr ***. *** ***AAA Livescan
