AAA Moving & Storage Corp.

Review: On 11/*/15 AAA Moving & Storage was hired to move my furniture and other personal belongings from an apartment in Holbrook, ny to an apartment in central islip, ny. The move went as scheduled, however two items did not reach my destination in central islip, ny. Item 1. a long, brown tube mailing canister that contained a rainstick (musical instrument) wrapped in newspaper; & Item 2. a deluxe ironing board.

After I moved in to the new location I noticed these 2 items were missing, and made several attempts to contact the owner from AAA moving & storage. The response was the same: "I will call you back", "they have to clean out the truck", etc. Then after additional phone calls with John, he responded with "one of the guys did see an ironing board strapped to the inside wall of the truck". John made no response to the tube mailing canister when I asked about it.

If these items can not be returned to me because the movers either kept them or threw them away. AAA moving & storage could at least provide a voucher or credit me for the ironing board ($30), & the rainstick ($70).

I watched these 2 items get loaded into the truck. What makes it worse is that I provided $180. tip for the 4 movers, which is $45 each and this is how a customer is treated. I had to constantly chase this man down with numerous phone calls, and no offer of satisfaction was made by the company to me. I will not be using this moving company again and would discourage anyone from using their services unless you want your personal items to disappear.
