I am rejecting this response because:To whom it may concern,  Satisfaction is relative. We will accept the payment mailed to our home. We would like to get the fees back from purchasing this car. As far as loss wages, we respectfully request this as an option as well. As stated below in our complaint.  Sincerely,  [redacted] & [redacted]  P.S. As stated before,  loss of wages due to a lack of communication from Newberg Chevrolet. If the owner and or his employees had to wait days for a company to return phone calls with any information on the diagnosis of a vehicle, while losing wages because of transportation issues due to the lack of communication. They would be asking for this financial burden to be lifted as well.  This company day after day did not return phone calls.  When finally talking with another representative, being laughed at, then again no return phone call for another 2 days, I believe the owner would not be happy about this   We purchased this car in good faith. We needed a vehicle so that my wife could get to jobs sites which are often in the country where there is no bus service.  We lost a substantial amount of income, that hurt our family for months.  I believe this company has had a good service record in the past. However, I also believe the ball was dropped by the service department for not contacting us in a timely manner, not researching the vehicle before servicing it, and the customer service manager for not keeping up on this situation.  Sincerely,  [redacted] & [redacted]

Re: Revdex.com Complaint ID: [redacted] ([redacted])

Dear [redacted]:

On July 16, 2016, [redacted] purchased a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox [redacted] from Newberg Chevrolet.

When...

Mrs [redacted] brought the vehicle into Newberg Chevrolet service department she met with Lloyd F[redacted], Service and Parts Director, she mentioned she heard a noise, a squeaking, rattling type, he immediately took the vehicle into the shop and placed it on the rack for inspection.

Upon inspection, it was found that the jack needed to be put into proper position and tightened down.  In addition, the rear suspension, rear trailing arms and sway bar end links were lubricated with white lithium grease.

The vehicle was then test driven by Lloyd for further inspection and was found to be clear of issues.

Upon receiving your letter on October 19, 2016, Joe V[redacted], General Sales Manager, immediately contacted Mrs [redacted] to address her concern regarding the undercarriage.  She brought the vehicle the same day and the undercoating was performed, at no additional charge, see Exhibit A.

11/20/16 [redacted] and [redacted] purchased a 2006 Mini Cooper [redacted] from Newberg Chevrolet. Part of the purchase agreement between the [redacted]’s and Newberg Chevrolet was to have the “center screen repaired” as per the we owe 85566.  Exhibit A The [redacted]’s brought the vehicle into the...

Service Department at Newberg Chevrolet on 12/21/16 under Repair Order [redacted].  Mrs [redacted] waited while the screen was installed.  After further inspection, it was determined that the vehicle needed to be seen by a Mini Factory Technician, at which time Mrs [redacted] took it to [redacted] on 12/23/16 to have the Nav screen, that Newberg Chevrolet replaced, for [redacted] to program it to the vehicle with the proper tools. Newberg Chevrolet supplied a loaner vehicle for over 100 days, free of charge, which encompassed the date she requested one to the date Newberg Chevrolet purchased the vehicle back.  All repairs and inspections totaling $699.95, as well as the loaner vehicle in the estimated amount of $3500.00 were complimentary and free of charge to Mr and Mrs [redacted]. During this entire process Joe V[redacted], General Manager, as well as, Jeremy K[redacted], Service Manager, were both in constant contact with the [redacted]s. During this process it was discovered that Mini has alleged electrical issues during years 2004-2006 vehicles. Joe and the [redacted] family decided it was best to search for a newer vehicle.  Joe found at least twelve Mini Coopers years 2008-2010 to help replace the existing vehicle, to which each vehicle found by Newberg Chevrolet was declined by the [redacted]s.  4/14/17 In the best interest of the [redacted]s, Joe reached out after exhausting all the options to find a vehicle that they would be satisfied with and once again offered to buy the vehicle back at full purchase price of $6500.00. 4/20/17 The [redacted]’s came into Newberg Chevrolet and dropped the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Loaner vehicle off and picked up a check for the full amount of $6500.00 for the 2006 Mini Cooper and were completely satisfied with this gesture. In response to the “desired settlement” Newberg Chevrolet is willing to reimburse the [redacted]s the DEQ of $21 and the Oregon mandated DMV fees/Doc Fee of $322.00 as a goodwill gesture. Newberg Chevrolet has gone above and beyond reasonable expectations to remedy this situation.  With the above goodwill gesture ratified, Newberg Chevrolet will consider this case satisfied and closed. Joe V[redacted] General Manager
