Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The email sent was an auto-reply that has been sent to anyone who has emailed, as I received this same email to my personal email account I'm guessing there are a lot of vendors waiting on refunds, so I have no clue where I fall in the order of getting reimbursed For all I know it could be September of this year before I see my refund I also hope that my refund is paid in full, as I was told by the business that I paid $for the space, but I looked back at records and found that I actually paid $ By the time I figured this out, the business had already become unreachable Regards, [redacted]

Due to a setback in Event Diva Promotions financial situation we are reorganizing our ***ts and refunds will start going out the first week of February We will continue to issue refunds, no matter the time frame, until all ***ts are paid off An event in Madison, WI during the month of December, created this financial setback and we are seeking legal action against those who participated in this event for their breach in their contracts by leaving before the end of the event All vendors due a refund will receive an email as their refund is issued We are not giving an exact timeframe when these refunds will be completed as we have to gather funds to pay these vendors I am sorry that this matter has created such a stir of negative input but Event Diva Promotions promises to make good on all ***ts Thank you [redacted]

To Whom It May ConcernThis complaint is invalid because the vendor packed up and left before the 5pm required time on Sunday, December 7, Although this event was held with the anticipation that we would attract more customers than attended (approximately attended), we have no control over who comes and who doesn't There were many events going on that weekend, Badger Basketball Game, High School Hockey Games, etc., which we were unaware of This event was heavily advertised through the Isthmus Giving Guide, Wisconsin State Journal, Press Releases, Social Networks, Flyers, Posters, online Craft & Gift Show sites, etc., and the Marquee out front of the Alliant Energy CenterThis Vendor paid for one day and it was within my right to charge her what I did because she was doing only one day, which normally was not allowed I allowed one other vendor to do Sunday only This Vendor threatened me and made it clear that she was unhappy with the event I am not sure what happened with all the Vendors who packed up and left by 3pm, but it was a total mess Accusations of a drunk santa, a dirty elf who was a transvestite, and more were really unnecessary comments We held a raffle for the public, which was done on the hour the first day and second day All Vendors were requested to donate to the raffle table, but only 1/of them did Raffle proceeds and gifts left over were donated to Kitties On The Prairie Cat Rescue, Sauk City, WII have attached a copy of the Vendor's Agreement, which she signed Leaving early breaches the agreement and, in fact, I could take them all to court and fine them for ruining my event I have consulted with an attorney and he has assured me that I am definitely within my rights to sue all of these people for damages and slander I want you to know that I do not want it to come to any kind of lawsuit, but if I am threatened or harrassed any more I will have no alternative than to take legal actionThank you for letting me tell my sideYours Respectfully, [redacted]

One event should not have an impact on the other
The Darboy event was paid promptly on April 30, and was to be held in November Almost a month ahead of the event in MadisonThese two events were not connected to each other at all The refund request Event Diva Promotions required to be submitted to them, stated it would be processed in days
Now, she stated We are not giving an exact timeframe when these refunds will be completed as we have to gather funds to pay these vendors.
The solution, that would make me happy is a immediate full refund via a cashiers check so I know it will be valid I also feel that having an open ended refund date is unacceptable If refund isn't issued right away, I will have to pursue another avenue along with others

Very unprofessional response from Event Diva To refer to me in that manner is not acceptable and uncalled forBecause I wanted my money back for something I never received???
This lady has problems and should be totally avoided

The *** has received her refundEnd of story!

We entered into a contract with Event Diva for a craft/gift show in Madison, Wisconsin in December, 2014. Event Diva/[redacted] [redacted] stated that there would be 10,000+ visitors to this show. In the two day show, we estimated less than 500 people walked through the door. This was the most expensive two day show we ever signed up for. It was $450, yet some vendors paid less, because she put it "on sale" when no vendors were signing up. Did we get a rebate between what others paid, and the full price we paid? Absolutely not! She advertised to us that there would be entertainment provided by a band - Saving Savannah, I believe the name was, on Sunday afternoon. No band showed up. She advertised to us that the Alliant Energy Center would be transformed into a "winter wonderland" with kids crafts, Santa, etc. If you consider a tired looking artificial tree and a Santa who looked like he just got out of rehab a "winter wonderland" then we're not on the same page! There was little to NO advertising done in Madison to attract people to this show. Is this not her job as a show promoter? to get people through the door? I realize you can't make people purchase a product, but if we have no one to sell to, how are we to recoup the money we spent on this show? Not only did we have the show fees, but we had meals, fuel, hotel expenses, etc. Yet she walks away with a $30,000 profit and just a small number of vendors realized a very small profit, once expenses were deducted. Many vendors left early on Saturday and did not return for Sunday because they hadn't sold ONE ITEM all day on Saturday and the show hours were 10am to 7pm. We were all told we MUST donate an item for a raffle. And she charged for the raffle tickets, so she AGAIN, made more money off of us! If the 100+ vendors all donated an item, and she was giving one away an hour, what do you think she was going to do with all the rest of the items she collected? That's right, she said she was taking them home! So many vendors grabbed their items off of the raffle table on Sunday, knowing this was going to happen. Then there is the "Grand Prize" an Xbox system. After they called off the "winner" and of course, that person wasn't there on Sunday, when there were only 10 customers left in the place, she called off another name, and another name, and another name. Guess who won? One of her friends, who was helping for the weekend! This woman has cancelled shows and not refunded money to vendors who paid for the booth fees. She does ZERO advertising with the money she receives from vendors, who rely on shows as their only income. She has since taken down her Facebook page and deactivated her website. She has now resurrected herself under a new business name so she can scam more people! Midwest Singles Events. [email protected]. So now she can rip more people off.
