Not very happy with the service I receivedCalled Randy about a long term clogTold his secretary for him to bring a camera to see where the clog was in the pipe Randy claimed he could not use the camera because there was no access trapRandy tried to sell me a trap that goes outside my septic tank so he could insert the cameraHis price was around $for thisHe also claimed he could not snake my drain due to the fact that I needed this trapHe charged me $for doing nothing but giving that estimate and going in my craw spaceFast forward a week later I called a different plumber who did not charge me a penny for coming outHe entered my crawl space and identified the problem right awayMy pipe that goes into the main pipe was not slanted correctly and was bowed in the centerHe showed me this and showed me how heavy the pipe wasWhile in the crawl space I found a clean out trap that Randy claimed I did not haveMy mistake was not going in the crawl space with Randy when he came overIn a way I'm ok that I got away paying the $to Randy because I might of used him in the future and been charged a lot more than $for absolutely nothingLesson learned will not deal with Rand proSad because Randy and Paul seen like very nice guys who served our great country, and I would like to give the veterans who served my country the business
The plumber I worked with was PaulHe gave me suggestions on what I would need to make my bathroom safe as I age and showed me how I could order the parts I needed on line, thus saving a little money since I was on a tight budgetHe did a wonderful job on the installation and was very skillful at placing the shower items according to my size and preferencesI have not needed a plumber in my years in this house, but I will know who to call when I do
I needed a toilet component replaced as it was not filling water back up After several less than helpful videos on youtube, I decided just to get a professional I was able to get a plumber to come out during a two hour time frame Paul called minutes before the start of the two hour mark just like they said he would I changed my mind since their prices were so reasonable just to get both toilet insides fully replaced It took Paul an extra minutes to stop off along the way and pick up the extra parts He was very professional, helpful, cheerful and efficient The cost was even more reasonable than I thought it would be These guys are going to be my plumber of choice from now on It was about the best service call I had from anyone in at least two or three years
In doing my research, I spoke to Becky and then Randy on the phone who were both very helpful and personableAfterward, I set up an appointment on the following day for Paul to replace my water heater and install a pressure regulator using parts that I had purchased myselfThe next day Paul called and said that he was running ahead and could start early, which was appreciated and the work was finished within a couple hoursPaul was very professional, diligent and attentive to detail, but also friendly and he took the time to explain why/what he was doing and how it affects the system along with the proper homeowner maintenance neededAdd all that to an excellent price for the service and that makes me a very happy customer who will call Randpro whenever I need a plumbing service
