Review: Where do I start? Company was hired to diagnose issue with an air conditioner on April **, 2013. They were specifically instructed (after showing up 2 hours late) not to perform work until an estimate was rendered - the technician (who I believe is the owner) then indicated that he completed the repair and asked for $175 even though an estimate was not given. He then doctored the receipt he sent me (we don't live locally I have tenants that live in the apartment) to indicate that he provided an esitmate. Six weeks later the air conditioner broke again. [redacted] returned to my apartment on June [redacted] (2 hours late) with specific instructions NOT to complete any repairs without an estimate and in fact was not supposed to even charge a visit fee given the repeat of the problem. He then indicated that he thought he 'did enough to get the unit through the summer' the last time he was there, which was certainly not what he was paid to do - he was paid to fix it period. Once again [redacted] then indicated he wanted $200 even though he fixed nothing and was repeatedly warned not to do any work which we communicated on the phone and in writing multiple times. He even went so far as to getting my tenants (who have no authority to act on behalf) to sign some form and then claim since our tenants signed something we owe him the money, which is patently ridiculous. Finally, he threatened to go after 'all involved parties' with a lawsuit if we didn't pay him since he had this 'signed document'. Repeated efforts to speak to a manager/owner were ignored. So to sum, [redacted] wants about $500 total and the air conditioner still doesn't work (and a new one costs minimally more).Desired Settlement: Full refund of initial repair fee as air conditioning repair was never satisfactorily completed
