Hello, My name is [redacted]. I'm the Salon Director of AVBS, and I'm refuting Mr. [redacted] complaint based on the following reasons: Information that is factually in error or misleading. No proof of fault of the salon, based on no evidence supplied and second-hand information. Actual customer was at fault, and the result of the service was predicted and warned by the stylist performing the service.1) Factual information in error or misleading. Mr. [redacted] claimed that he called the salon four times, and that the last call was on 10/25/17. It was not. Her email states that his first three calls were on the 10/20, 10/24 and 10/25. The fourth call was on 10/28/17, the day that I responded. His wife actually confirms those dates in her email. Not once (prior to the 10/28/17 call) did Mr. [redacted] identify himself as being the husband of our former client [redacted]. In fact, he was indignant about leaving a message other than "call me back," as if he were trying to make a point of NOT telling us his business. When asked about it, he responded via email that "we should be smart enough to figure it out on our own." Not once in any correspondence did Mr. [redacted] or Mrs. [redacted] ask for a refund of services. Once we identified on who's behalf Mr. [redacted] was calling, we called the "same-day."2) Factual information in error: As you can see by the attached receipt, the extension service is actually for the amount of $126.50. The remaining balance is the hair color service that Mrs [redacted] received, of which we've not heard of any dissatisfaction.3) Second hand or unverified information: We were supplied no pictures of the extensions falling out, nor did Mrs. [redacted] come in to the salon so that we could view the hair. In fact, as stated above, she chose not to contact us at all. We have no business history with Mr [redacted], and had no idea who he was. We have no idea, the extent of the issue with Mrs. [redacted]' hair.4) Stylist Warning: The extensions were being removed at home by Mrs. [redacted] using a "non-professional made-at-home" substance to remove them. We advise that extensions be removed professionally in the salon, or at least by using the proper product. The stylist warned Mrs. [redacted] that if she continued to do this, the extensions were likely not going to stay in place, and fall out. This is the whole conversation that started this problem--my stylist was honest with her, and she ([redacted]) thought it was rude and inappropriate. Then, apparently (we don't know, because we've yet to see them), the extensions did begin to fall out as predicted. This isn't an error on our part if it indeed happened. As far as another stylist helping, the second stylist was brought in as an assistant because the extensions were coated in the substance that had to be removed and combed through to smooth them out. This is not part of the regular service and Mrs. [redacted] was not charged for this.I have more correspondence available, but was unable to attach it to this email.
