I am rejecting this response because:
To clarify and address; 1. In I did call and spoke with Vince when I received the notice by mail that the rate would increase. Vince responded that he "didn't know" and that "the owner had hired a new company to keep the books" 2. I did not see this when I first opened an account. Had I known it would increase every year due to size I would not have taken this size unit and/or have down-graded. When I received notice of another rate increase this year it prompted me to take action since I did not receive a clear understanding of the process when I called in 2016. Had I received a clear, concise answer such as the above by Deanne, I would not have taken it further#5. I do not understand the implications here? By involving an outside entity to help resolving this issue, does that mean another increase due to "administrative" reasons?? Please explain#6. Thank you for your generous offer to freeze my rate at $until Septof 2018. I accept. Once my medical condition improves, which I believe will be in about 6-months after my surgery, I will begin to make other arrangements. For the record:1.   Ms. Cervantes is speaking about an interaction in 2016.  Vince has not been the manager for one year and it is now September of 20172.     ALL units have an annual price increase, this is not unique to a 10x20 unit of Ms. Cervantes3.     Price increases are allowable under the contract signed by Ms. Cervantes and the facility.  We are following all obligations under the contract4.     There are no "outside entities" involved.  We cannot speak to hearsay or a hypothetical discussion between a Ms. Cervantes and a former employee5.     We have already provided Ms. Cervantes to a resolution - which is to freeze her unit rate.  Her continued pursuit of the matter speaks to potential ulterior intent.  If she is not satisfied with the offer, we look forward to making arrangements to vacate the facility at her convenience.We ask the Revdex.com to defend our rights as a business and in fairness to all of our customers to mark this as resolved.

Dear Ms. Carmona, By way of introduction, I am the Off-site Manager for AAA Storage of Indio.  This is a response to your letter dated August 25, 2017, regarding Ms. Bianca Cervantes storage rental at AAA Storage of Indio, Case no. 12349474. For a matter of record: ...

1.       This is the first we have heard of this request.  We have no record of Ms. Cervantes contacting us via email, phone, or mail.  She has chosen the Revdex.com as the first outlet for her request 2.       We increase our prices annually, relative to our costs and market rates.  Annual rate increases impact all sizes at various times of the year, thus the “certain units”.  Specific to Ms. Cervantes, she as all customers in a 10x20 unit have an increase each September.  In 2014, she paid $125, in 2015, $137 and in 2016, her current rate of $142.  The next increase was to take effect in September of 2017 to $148. 3.       We follow legal guidelines on rate increases - and notify Ms. Cervantes the same way we would any other customer. 4.       If Ms. Cervantes is not happy with the rate, she can go to any one of our numerous competitors, however she will quickly find we have the lowest price.  The next lowest price for the equivalent unit is $161, all others are higher.  Even at $148, she would paying 10% less than the next competitive price. 5.       We keep our prices the lowest by keeping a tight control on administrative costs.  Ms. Cervantes action is not helpful to keeping our prices low 6.       Given Ms. Cervantes unique medical issues, we would be happy to keep her current rate of $142.00 frozen for the next year through September of 2018.  However, this would have been extended to any customer facing medical issues who has been a long-term tenant and is not an exception for Ms. Cervantes.  In the future we would urge Ms. Cervantes to utilize normal channels versus regulatory escalation paths.  Regards,   Deanne St. Marseille Property Manager AAA Storage of Indio 82521 Market St Indio, Ca 92201 ###-###-####
