AAA Sun Control Reviews (6)

We have used this business on two homes now and couldn't be more please with the level of service they provide as well as the quality of products. On both houses we have used their rain gutters and sun shade screens on windows and on our current home, we had them install two ClearView retractable screen doors.

The owner was always very pleasant and thorough when providing quotes. And the crews were very professional as well when installing products. I will use them again and again. In fact, we are very soon looking to have them build and install an Alumawood patio structure. Can't wait for the finished product.

I can confidently recommend them for any sun control and outdoor living product.

Recently I purchased Sun Screens for one home and Raingutters for two homes. It is important to know how PROFESSIONAL I found their this company to be. I worked with [redacted] B and found her to be responsive, reliable friendly and courteous and a darn good business woman.

the products were installed on the dates and times they promised and I am very happy with the quality of each of the products. Not all construction/service company's are dependable----i found this company to be VERY Dependable. I hope to use their services in the future and I will refer family and friends to them

AAA Suncontrol just completed a carport for me in Tempe Arizona. I contacted two other companies and they simply were not responsive, as the project is rather unique in my neighborhood. There are none.

Thanks to [redacted] from AAA we were able to accomplish this with a strong focus to succeed and overcome numerous obstacles in engineering and Tempe Permit review.

I have now a carport where my neighbors have expressed themselves as "officially jealous".

Great customer service in bringing this project to completion.

The sun screen installation was not the best quality. One screen is crooked (not level) and the others do not have the side tabs installed in the same horizontal line. Two screens close together with four different positions. No level was used, no experienced "eye-ball" positioning, either. They used shiny silver screw heads on bronze framing, and all eight screens were installed backwards. The ninth screen, for my mother-in-laws house next door, was not delivered.
I left a voice message with the company at 8:30 a.m. the next day. With no response, I called again at 12:10 p.m. and left a second message. I directly called the salesman, [redacted], that took my order and left a message for him.
He returned my call at 2:10 p.m. and said they only use one type of screw, regardless of the screen/frame color, and said they install the screens backwards on purpose, because of possible heat damage to the glass, and offered to come by after his 3:00 p.m. appointment to take a look.
When he arrived at 5:00 p.m. and reviewed my concerns, he offered no apology, nor any resolution. He simply asked what I wanted done about them. I said I'd like them fixed, but didn't see how that could be done, since there are permanent holes in my window frames, my wooden doors and in my stucco walls. All I could think of was a possible discount. He snapped back that was not going to happen.
[redacted] proceeded to pick apart the screens that were installed over 11 years ago as a comparison (which haven't caused heat damage to my glass), and tell feeble stories trying to deflect my disappointment as some how unreasonable. As he was leaving my home, he went as far as to accuse me of something. He said he knew what I was trying to do. I asked him what it was he thought I was trying to do. He answered, "You know." I said, "You've went too far," and closed the door on him.

On Wed 2/17/2016 the Salesperson Ruben confirmed that the entire gutter job was $2,464.56. I asked if there was flexibility to go back to the original estimate of approximately $2,200. The Salesperson response was as follows:

I recall it was important for you to be able to bargain and renegotiate terms. I realize this may be difficult for you to understand, but our pricing is firm. As a result, I am respectfully withdrawing our company from the bid process for your project. We wish you the best in finding a different company for your rain gutter project.

I've been is sales and marketing for over 30 years and I have never been treated with a response to a sales proposal with such disrespect. I guess I can make my a decision on the company I'd like to do business with after this type of treatment and how this salesperson and other salespeople have treated other (from the reviews).

After meeting this company at the Phoenix home show last month. We requested a quote for some seamless gutter. The salesman came to our house, assessed the project and provided us with a quote. We agreed to the price and then we wanted to add on another gutter. When the salesman came back to us with the new quote, he mentioned that they would have to charge us more money for the install since our house was three stories in the back. Although, we were a bit disappointed, this is a must do project for us. We asked him to provide the quote and after several days, of not getting our calls answered I had to call the home office and explain our situation. We had painters coming on Monday and needed to get this project coordinated with the gutters and the salesman wasn't getting back to us. Within minutes he returned our call to say they are declining our project due to the height. We were willing to pay the extra install charge, never once through this process was there a mention that the house was too tall. Now we are hunting for a new gutter contractor in hopes that it doesn't delay our project. Thanks for blind siding us! Not a very reliable company or maybe not well informed salesman!
