We received a call from [redacted] on February [redacted] 2014 that
the vehicle had stopped. We had the
vehicle picked up and towed it to our shop on February **,204 for diagnosis. Very first thing in the morning, we had
arranged for a rental vehicle at our expense on...

It’s very unfortunate that [redacted] was inconvenienced by
this incident however, it turns out the vehicles battery was discharged. We re-charged the battery and delivered the
vehicle. The vehicle had left running
from the shop, and although we replaced his engine as authorized by his
insurance company, this incident was not related to anything we did. As a matter of courtesy, we did not charge
him the towing expense.
As stated in the complaint, this vehicle was sublet to us by [redacted] shop where his vehicle was repaired for body damage. Since the body shops are not capable of complicated
mechanical repairs, it was repaired at our facility by replacing the engine as
per the insurance estimate and authorization.
In the interest of customer service and to get the vehicle
back to the customer as soon as possible, we completed the repairs in four days
i.e., on February **, 2014. We completed
the repairs/installation of the engine ahead of schedule.
The vehicle was running great when it left the shop on
February **, 2014. We have requested [redacted] to bring it back for a complimentary check up and free oil change in the
week of March [redacted] 2014.
We hope to have [redacted] as our regular customer.
