I dealt with Honest Fred's in Marietta Ohio recently when buying hard wood floors for my officeThey gave me a good verbal price so I accepted it When the invoice was wrote up there was no detail on each item I gave them the exact square footage that I needed but the salesman added another pack of flooring to the order in case we needed to cut someInstallation crew did a good job So I ended up with an extra pack of flooring It was returned to the store but the salesman on duty could not tell me the price of it because it was not detailed on the invoice So after investigation and back calculating the price it was determined that I was not going to get the correct amount back I called the store to speak to the original salesman that sold us the product I also informed him that it looks as though he charged me sales tax on the labor He claimed that's what all companies do I explained that this was not correct and all companies do not charge sales tax on labor He became argumentative about this and began speaking in a rude manner So in summary, they seem to be nice but be careful how they bill you as the salesmen undoubtedly work on commission and they will consolidate the costs on the invoices to cover up hidden charges or taxes that are not to be charged And the salesmen are not the most experienced in the business and rude if questioned
