Review: On 10/**/2013, I returned 14 rolls of unused and otherwise undisturbed wallpaper to AAA Wallpaper. This wallpaper had previously been purchased on 9/*/2013. The store calculated that the value of these 14 rolls amounted to $255. Pursuant to the original terms of sale, I was charged and paid a 30% restocking fee ($76.50) on the $255 value, bringing the remaining balance to $194.35. Instead of issuing me a refund via company check as provided for in the terms and conditions of the sales receipt, the store chose instead chose to issue "store credit" in the amount of $194.35. On the return receipt, the [redacted] indicated that because the rolls had been returned more than 30 days after they had been purchased, no refund would be issued given that "Returns must be made within 20 days from the date the goods arrive in our store." However, this decision to issue "store credit" in lieu of a refund, amounted to a unilateral decision on the part of the [redacted] to ignore the plain text of the Terms and Conditions of the sales receipt which states in relevant part that all refunds apart from those related to credit card purchases, "will be made by company check, mailed within 7 business days."Desired Settlement: I would like for AAA Wallpaper to mail me a refund via company check, in the full amount of $194.35, which constitutes to the remaining balance in dispute after the 30% restocking fee had been assessed.
