We had an old pool and wanted to upgrade. We called 4 pool companies and they came out and gave an estimate. Dave was the only one that came out totally prepared and measured the back yard, drew up a design with our wants and gave a total cost. We started the process quickly and Dave was there through out the whole process. He never pushed any add ons but there were things we wanted to add and he gave us information regarding these things (colored lights. In ground cleaner, water features, salt system) Dave did extras such as a new block wall, stucco the wall, 2500 feet of concrete decking and artificial grass all at a great cost. I would highly recommend AAABar pools with no reservations. The process from removing the old pool and putting in the new pool (45x20 8.5 ft deep) went quickly and smoothly. He is a pleasure to work with and listens to his clients and gives honest feedback about if what we wanted was feasible or cost effective or even needed. Our experience with AAABar Pools and Dave B[redacted] has been probably the best construction/contracting experience my wife and I have ever had. He did a wonderful job and we have beautiful results. Not only did he follow up numerous times on the phone, he also came out to the house on many different occasions to assure our satisfaction. We had only a couple of minor issues and he took care of them immediately. I would highly recommend this business if you want a beautiful custom pool and / or spa built just for you, to your own specifications. If and when we build another pool, there is only one Contractor I would ever call and that is Dave B[redacted].

So my family decided we wanted a pool in our new house. I did my research very thoroughly for such a large purchase of course. Was referred to other contractors and large builders. Called, emailed, etc. many builders. Had meetings with a few, some never called back or even got back to us after having met with them. Found aaabar through Revdex.com with an A+ rating so looked more into it. Submitted an email inquiry from their website and within minutes received a call from Dave. Set up a time to meet and he showed up on time. Wife and I discussed what we wanted and we measured the yard and drew up some plans. We had a few more meetings scheduled with other builders and told Dave we would get back with him. After meeting with the other builders and fine tuning what my family wanted, we decided to let aaabar pools build ours. Dave said that now things are gonna get moving quickly, and he was right. He pulled permits very fast and a few days later he said we are gonna dig on Monday June 1st. So 2 days of digging, Wednesday was plumbing Thursday was steel, Saturday electrical. Then an inspection by city and then shotcrete. Then came tile and kool deck/ acrylic, fence, etc. All in all about 5 weeks from start to finish for the type of pool I wanted which is fast. But all trades used did a very good job. Dave showed up for every phase and went through with each crew what was going on. Dave also was in contact the whole time and filled us in with the next phase or just answered any questions I had. We have only had our pool complete for a few weeks and use it almost every day. Have a 3 and 4 yr old and they love it and want to be in it every chance they have. The finished product turned out better the we had envisioned. The pool is gorgeous and was made exactly the way we wanted. The process for how intense it is, was actually very smooth and pain free. Everyone who has seen it has been very impressed with how nice it looks. We have told everyone how happy we are and we whole heartedly recommend Dave and aaabar pools.

Absolutely wonderful! When we first met with Dave I knew the experience would be great. You can't beat the prices and quality. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a pool here in Arizona. Obviously with this climate a pool is a necessity, and they built me the most amazing custom pool. We feel very lucky that we found AAABAR pools. They worked very hard on our pool (which looks great). The men working were cordial and hard working. Everything was done in a timely manner. The owner was here almost daily to check on the work. Any problems or questions we had were addressed quickly and to the satisfaction of all parties. The owner was almost always available, and if he was busy he called back within an hour. I already lined up some friends to get their pool from AAABAR because we were so pleased with our results.

Initially the process started off very quickly. We were ahead of schedule until it was time to install the Quartz. There was an issue with the warehouse having it on back order but [redacted] communicated with us often to let us know the status. Waiting for the Quartz did delay the process by a couple weeks but we are very pleased with the look and feel of the Quartz.
Our only concern was some dirt spots that absorbed in to the pours in the Quartz before the pool was filled with water. However, rubbing chlorine on it has helped and slowly the spots are going away.
[redacted] was very nice and always stayed in contact with us, answering all of our questions and coming out when we asked him to. Overall, we were pleased the work that we had done and our experience with the company.

Dave not only built us an amazing pool, but an entire backyard! He sat down and was patient with us as we made various changes to our design. After contract signing Dave started construction immediately. Dave checked in with his Sub-contractors daily, and if he noticed something that didn't meet his high quality standards, he made them fix it. Dave came over for coffee and a weekly project recap meeting almost every weekend. Through the entire process he was extremely professional and an all around great guy. If you want an amazing pool with a no-hassle experience, AAABAR Pools is your place.

Please note that we did our homework! That is, we met with the BIG 3 pool builders and either the sales representative was too removed from the construction process, the pricing was astronomical, or the representations made by builders did not quite clarify the real truth behind certain pool functions or maintenance. We found owner [redacted] to be quite educational, timely and responsive to our needs and delivered a product within our budget that the other large builders could not. Our working with AAABAR Swimming Pools largely resulted as a referral very much like the post you are reviewing at this time. Trust, our analysis and review was quite extensive because my spouse, is an accountant who handles the accounting functions...that is the analysis, billing and payments to construction sub-building contractors for one of the largest home builders in the Southwest and she knows what it means to pay the bills, address warranty issues and to deal with faulty workmanship. So, to choose AAABAR Swimming Poolsas our family pool construction company over a company that already had a pre-existing relationship with this very large home building company was quite simply....HUGE! This is a CPA, with numbers and spreadsheets all over the place engaged in very detailed assessments regarding our decision making process. I just recently retired and decided to put a pool in back yard to enjoy/entertain. I did some research with pool companies and my most positive meeting and experience was with David Barrett and AAABAR pools.

From the initial meeting to discuss what I was looking for all the way through the process to the pool being finished and swim ready it was a positive experience, and entire process from start to finish was done as promised with excellent results and total satisfaction with the end result.
