BDP Plumbing and Heating is a "flat rate" company This means the cost of a job is based on the job itself We do not breakdown the cost of the job by time and material since its designed so if your the customer minutes away or an hour away, your charged the same price The cost for that part of the job was $plus tax Again we are a flat rate company When you scheduled your appointment you made an appointment for service NOT as an estimate As for the signature on the "Authorization to Proceed", our customers should read that line BEFORE signing as well as the bottom line for accepting the work performed We do not view customer complaints as "bullying' However you called our office you told us your intentions if we did not refund you $ The professional courtesy/refund of $is being offered once again

Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (2000, 6, 2016/01/20) */ My credit card company has credited my account for the full amount, they were evidently not able to contact Vision Armory eitherI visited Vision Armory's website today and noticed that they have updated their website stating that they are behind weeks minimum, but I have yet to receive a reply to any of the emails I had sent themVery bad business form, not communicating with their customers!!!

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Although I disagree with the content of both responses provided by BDP, it is clear that both parties remain firm in their opinions Further correspondence would likely yield no progress, so in the interest of saving everyone's time, I accept their $refund BDP: Please issue the credit on the card originally used on the date of service at your earliest opportunity Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The response does not address the following:1) Any explanation for the excessive cost of installing the mixing valve, as described in the original complaint.2) Any explanation for the failure to respond to phone calls placed prior to Revdex.com assistance, as described in the original complaint..Other clarifications to note:1) As described in the original complaint, an estimate was never given The technician started working immediately and filled out the entirety of the work order at the conclusion of the visit I felt pressured to sign it in order to get him to leave my residence.2) The vast majority of the hours spent at my residence were related to a boiler cleaning and installation of sink angle valves As mentioned previously, I was satisfied with the outcome of these two items and my complaint only concerns the installation of a mixing valve The installation of the mixing valve was completed in under minutes.3) Customer complaints should not be viewed as attempts to "bully" a company, rather they should be seen as opportunities for future improvement I kindly request that BDP credits a minimum of $to my credit cardI see this as a fair and equitable outcome since BDP will still be making a profit from the service they provided, while their pricing to the customer will be more reasonable Regards, [redacted] ***

Mr [redacted] ,I apologize that Dominick did not return your phone call We have a technician down and he has been filling in for those jobs for that tech as well as other responsibilities Please advise when you are available during the day so we can possibly make an appointment for a telephone call

This is in response to the complaint made by *** ***. We agree that our technician went out to do the boiler cleaning, checked the water pressure, installed new valves as well as lines and the installed the mixing valve. The technician was at the job site for over 1/hours.
The customer was given a quote before he did the jobs and the customer signed off authorizing the technician to proceed with the work at the quoted pricing. Once the job was complete, the customer signed off he was satisfied with work at the agreed upon pricing. Please see the attached work order showing both signatures lines signed by the homeowner. If the customer was not happy with the quoted price, he should not have signed the work order nor authorized for the work to be performed. We also provide free estimates where the homeowner would have been the cost of the job. Please see the attached our ValPak coupon which states that and the customer used for his job. BDP Plumbing and Heating would also like to make it clear that we will NOT be bullied by a customer for a refundOur company is licensed and bonded with several senior techniciansWe have been in business for quite some time with long time customers as well as new customers due to our great reviews. We have won service awards for over years in a row and have been voted as the Best Plumbing company in the area. With that said, as a professional courtesy we are willing to give a $refund

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 21, 2016/01/05) */
Mr. [redacted] had indeed placed and order with Vision Armory. While placing that order Mr. [redacted] had to proceed though our checkout process, where it is required that the customer ( Mr. [redacted] ) agree to our User Terms and Conditions.
Which...

can be found here: http://www.visionarmory.com/terms-and-conditions-2/
In addition, at any page on our website, www.VisionArmory.com, including the checkout process are a list of our site and company policies. In particular our policy on shipping and returns and even more specifically item number 7. Which states, "Any modifications done to the product may void our warranty."
While I do not have pictures to supply of the items received from Mr. [redacted]. I can assure they were retained by my staff as evidence for my direct review.
The items received from Mr. [redacted] were highly modified and were no where near the original condition shipped to Mr. [redacted]. In fact, the products had been modified so heavily that Vision Armory could not even attempt to resell the product.
At our discretion, we sent Mr. [redacted] several replacement products he suggested he would like to receive in exchange, items that are now at our cost due to the highly modified and un-useable returns we received.
Vision Armory has been instructed not to extend any additional warranty to Mr. [redacted] and not to accept any new business from him or his direct associates. As well as to consider the replacement products already shipped to him as a loss in good faith.
Mr. [redacted]'s original contact message was received on 9/13/2015 referencing a pair (2) of our AR10 product. Our notes indicate he had received (4) of the replacement AR15 products he asked for in addition to our out of pocket shipping cost that exceeds $200.00
Mr. [redacted] has since; falsely advertised our company and customer service staff on social media directly to our other customers ( Resulting in a ban from our social media sites) Permanently damaged our relationship with our credit card processor by making false allegations resulting in a termination of our processing agreement. Fraudulently filed complaints on social media resulting in direct damage to our name and reputation and lastly fraudulently filed a complaint with the Revdex.com based on fraudulent allegations and his own beliefs.
In addition, we have not received any notification from the Revdex.com of a complaint filing and request any further communications to be directed to our registered resident office at the office address below.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 24, 2016/01/05) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I have documentation that Mr. [redacted] is inaccurate in the above statements. He informed me to cut the parts in half prior to shipping them back. The 4 equivalent ar15 products he sent were of $200 value and I spent $250 initially. When he sent replacement parts he stated he would also send a jig which he didn't. Vision Armory experienced numerous complaints from multiple customers through social media from failed delivery and money held. Is is 100% false that I committed fraudulent claims and have the emails and documents to legally prove any statement being challenged. From a Revdex.com standpoint I will accept this response with the understanding that I do not agree with it but hope that the experience I had along with other customers was the exception rather than the norm.

Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 16, 2016/04/18) */
I just wanted to let you know that the Visa dispute that I filed came through on April 13 and Visa refunded my money. I never did hear anything from vision armory since November 2015. Thanks for your time in trying to help me resolve this issue....

I'm satisfied with the outcome with Visa refunding the full amount of my order.

I am rejecting this response because:The response does not address the following:1) Any explanation for the excessive cost of installing the mixing valve, as described in the original complaint.2) Any explanation for the failure to respond to phone calls placed prior to Revdex.com assistance, as described in the original complaint..Other clarifications to note:1) As described in the original complaint, an estimate was never given.  The technician started working immediately and filled out the entirety of the work order at the conclusion of the visit.  I felt pressured to sign it in order to get him to leave my residence.2) The vast majority of the 4.5 hours spent at my residence were related to a boiler cleaning and installation of sink angle valves.  As mentioned previously, I was satisfied with the outcome of these two items and my complaint only concerns the installation of a mixing valve.  The installation of the mixing valve was completed in under 20 minutes.3) Customer complaints should not be viewed as attempts to "bully" a company, rather they should be seen as opportunities for future improvement.  I kindly request that BDP credits a minimum of $250 to my credit card. I see this as a fair and equitable outcome since BDP will still be making a profit from the service they provided, while their pricing to the customer will be more reasonable.
