This is in response to the complaint you received 11-11-We are well aware of his concerns and of his parents and would respond as such.We are contacted by our clients at various times with various requestsMost of our clients are timely as to the IRS time guidelinesFilings are done on time and there are no issuesThere are some clients that get information to us after deadlines and we notify them of such and they are in agreementWe have and always will do our best to make sure all filings are done timelyWe have never had a client receive a late payment penalty or non filing penalty because of our negligence not filing documents timelyIt has always been because the client did not give us the necessary information at the correct timeMr [redacted] says they were in a time crunch and requested the filings done asapCorporate tax returns are not due till March 15th of the following tax yearWe do the filings for our clients on a first come first serve basis and try to get them back to the client at a set dateDuring tax time, time is limited, but we have always done filings timely to our clients satisfaction and to the fed and state governments timelinesFor the better part of the year 2015, our office responded to and contacted the parents of the Mr [redacted] We were not sure the circumstance of the whereabouts of Mr [redacted] and had told the parents that we were uncomfortable with working with their sons finances without his direct consentWe did get a hold of Mr [redacted] later that year and he said it was okWhen we were notified by him it was ok we then were comfortable to proceedDuring this time we contacted the parents and told them we needed to see a completed profit and loss statement so we could have on record his exact income for the yearWhen we received that p/l statement we proceededWhen the taxes were completed we then had the parents come and pick up the filingsOnce we were cleared by the parents, we then efiled the returns which is or custom to do soThen we received phone calls from the parents saying there was some concernsAt this point we had felt that with dealing with the parents that there was major confusion on their part we indicated to them that they should receive more council from their son as to his wishesNothing was done till Mr [redacted] finally called and said there was a major amount of income missingGiven the track record of Mr [redacted] and his parents with regard to misinformation, untimely information and accusation then and now we are very confident we have made the correct choiceThere are individuals that do things for their own benefit with regards to taxesWe at Astrive to help our clients save the most money to the full extent of the law but have not and never will go over and above that law only to find favor with a clientIf the client seems at all going this direction we immediately call them on it and notify them that we will not be representing them in any wayWe get compensated for the work we do, and only get paid after it is doneIf there is a change that is needed after we charge the client accordinglyWe believe we acted responsibly in this situationWe regret that Mr [redacted] feels the way he does and mean no ill will to him or his parents but we consider this issue closed.Thank you for your ear and good day
