Review: Owner attempted to fix my cheverolet 1500 Express van AWD transmission. AACE Trans keep it a week and charged me $1600 dollars if I paid in cash. Owner [redacted] said all OK I drove off a Happy camper after I monetarily thanked the mechanics with a tip. The fix lasted one day approx 85 miles and broke down with transmission not working. Towed back to shop and he proceeded to repair it again. Kept vehicle over a week and said all fixed, not so once again broke down after a few days, well this went on 5 times which led me to the conclusion that they had no idea what they were doing. Lost entire confidence in this business and I could not continue losing my truck because it was needed for my livelyhood. I went to [redacted] close by me in Matawan and they fixed it in a few days and has been running like a new vehicle, no problems at all. I called AACE Trans and told them it broke down again ontheir 5th time trying to fix it so I had to go to [redacted] because they didn't have a clue and [redacted] fixed it with no problem. I stated to the owner I trusted you but you were working me over as in a scam system. I stated you owe me some of my money back. [redacted] owner said you still had some guarantee left you should have brought back I said you can't be serious after roughly 6 times and over a month having trying to repair said vehicle is enough anyone can take. He refused to return any money back. I said your guarantee scam is worthless because you're waiting for it to expire and he wins. This company should be allowed to do business in the United States of America, for which I am Disable America from the Vietnam War. We love this country and people like this should not be doing business here or anywhere. God Bless America Respectfully Yours [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want my intial $1600 and he ask for additional $200 in cash total $1800. The tips that I gave the mechanics was my own stupidity. I might add I hung a brand new American Flag outside on a pole in front of his broken sign I would like that back also because anyone does business in this country dooes not have a right to fly my Flag
