My experience with Aaims Property Management seemed good at first, but then as repairs came up they were very slow at making them We had a water heater that leaked for months before they fixed it, a screened porch (which they said was to be re-screened) that never was fixed, and a broken microwave that was never fixed We had several property managers during the year My husband and I decided to buy a house We bought the house before the end of our lease We called Aaims immediately and told them we would be moving out, but fully intended to honor our lease agreement After moving out in January (lease ending the end of April), we paid the rent on time In the beginning of March, we received a letter that was dated Feb It was an itemized list of charges we owe There were four things we were aware that we owed, but there were things we felt that were unethical, such as, a late fee for April rent, a break the lease fee, and items of damage found on our initial walk thru sheet (which Aaims completed before we rented the property) According to the letter, all the charges were due in days, which would be March 30th Our problems were: if due before April how would there be a late fee on the rent, and if I was paying the rent for the duration of the lease why would I be charged a breaking lease fee? After several phone calls, and numerous times talking to someone I got a written statement saying the the late fee and breaking the lease fee would be waived if I paid April's rent by the 5th of April They also took off the damage that was already on the walk thru papers I found out by calling Aaims that the property was being sold and not rented, so now I ask why a re-renting fee? When I went to pay April's rent on the 1st, I was told only a certified check would do After I went to get a certified check, the receptionist said I could have a receipt but not with "April rent" written on it After waiting for awhile and talking through this, they finally gave me a receipt with April rent written on it While I was waiting I noticed a sign that they posted, and it says "Do Not put on your payment what the payment is for I will not be able to accept a payment with this information on it." I do not understand why you would not be allowed to write in the memo section of your check what the payment was for? Overall, not a good company, not ethical!!!

My home has been under their management since April I am currently in Afghanistan and during the tenant move-out process Krystle has been extremely helpful and sympathetic to my circumstancesShe is still working on getting my house cleaned up and fixed for my return and I would like to thank her for making this experience as efficient as possibleI wish you all the best and I look forward to using AAIMS in the future
