When his vehicle was here the technician working on [redacted]'s [redacted] not only verbally told me the engine cover was missing but he also wrote it down on the report that was filed when the vehicle came in for repair. I have copied and attached the report. ZThe report shows date and time of arrival, reason for coming in and also what other things were found once the vehicle was looked over. I called [redacted] personally to explain the cover was missing and not here upon arrival. Since receiving this complaint I have called the [redacted] dealership and asked how much the engine cover was. The dealer list is 337.00. As a small business owner I understand these things can be frustrating but I also know this part was not misplaced at my shop and will not take responsibility for something we did not do. However I will compromise and allow [redacted] to purchase the part himself at my shop at a discounted rate which is 250.27 and I will install it for free. This is roughly a 150.00 savings with labor. Thank you for your consideration.
