While Scott Clark Honda advertises lowest prices, they are by far notI recently was there shopping for an OdysseyI had bought from there before and had had a fairly good experience, so I chose to shop there again.I had a quote from another dealer and with quote in hand I went to Scott ClarkMy salesman was [redacted] and he was a very nice gentleman, after going back and forth with him for a few minutes, the Sales Manager or General Manager stepped in, I'm unsure of his his name, however he came back with another price and of all the "extras" I was getting for this priceLike the lifetime warranty, which is an extra that you buy when you see the finance guy and the month roadside assistance which I later learned was something that Honda was giving with every car purchasedAfter giving the manager my quote he then proceeded to tell me that he couldn't meet my quote because he didn't believe that I had gotten that quote from some where elseOnce I got up to leave, he then, very aggressive and cockily asked if I had that quote from somewhere else why did I not just go thereI do not believe that car buying should have to be such a bad experience, nor do I think you should call your customers a liar, in not so many wordsI did buy an Odyssey that day, but from [redacted] where I had a very please experience and got the vehicle I wanted with plenty of extras for less than Scott Clark was offering! I DO NOT recommend this business!

We bought a Chevy Suburban from [redacted] after a drawn out going back and forth negotiation with our small children present on a week nightWe had told them we will come back and they kept promising just a few more minutesWe agreed that there were some cosmetic issues that were needing to be fixed and they agreed to give us a loaner and fix the paint and switch my rimsWe did this on WEdnesday and were told we would have it on Thursday afternoonFriday night came and we finally received the car from a delivery driverThe paint job was not complete at allAlso heard a sound coming from the motorWe took it back on Saturday and they said bring it back on Monday and they will fix the carMy husband took off of work to take it back on Monday and were told we would have it back on TuesdayWednesday came and we had it back with the fixed paintthe noise was still coming but they said that is the sound a new belt makesWe get a call weeks later from the finance guy saying he found us a better rate to come back in a sign new paperwork being it is 2% lower than what we hadWE came back in and he even threw in years FREE oil changesWOW! We get home and after about a week I was reviewing the old paper work with the new paperwork to see where I send our payment being it was coming due only to find out we have been charged an additional $for the FREE oil change, identity theft protection that was never talked about, and paint protection that was never talked aboutI have called managers and finally received one that said [redacted] will refund you those charges on the loanI received my current loan statement and there is NO refundDO NOT EVER BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE And always be weary that nothing is freeWe have found out the hard wayAnd also know, none of these things were labled on the contractI had to call to find out what these wereWe just assumed we were signing the exact same paperwork like we were told, only with a different interest rate

We called at around 2:to see if we were "still on" to test drive the Infiniti sedanWe were still in Concord having just been released from the service function we were working at and were planning to be at the dealership at around 3:or so if everything was still goodWe were told yes and to come in and ask for "***
We arrived at a few minutes after 3:00, asked for ***, and were eventually met by a lady claiming to be *** assistant"I don't recall her name, sorry about thatWe showed her the car we were interested in from an emailShe looked up the car and excused herself to find out more information
She returned with some gentleman, I believe a sales person (again, sorry, I'm not good with names), and informed us that the car had already been sold, but perhaps we would be interested in something else on the lotWe were assured that they would make "a very aggressive offer" since we had come all that way to see this one particular carMy wife and I decided to look at a silver Lexus ES300h
We test drove the car and decided to hear about the offerSome time later, *** came and showed us the offer, which was well above the price my wife and I had decided we were willing to pay for the carWe declined the offer and countered with our price*** said he was going to talk with his manager and see if they could get closer to our price
Some time later, another gentleman, claiming to be the sales manager, came to us with a counter offer that was still well above our price, including having raised the offer on our trade in carThis offer was closer, but, still not at a place where we were comfortable, so we declined and reiterated our position
When asked how I had come up with our position, I was very candidI told the gentleman that we had looked the Lexus up on KBB.com, and his price was too high for the carHis offer for the trade was also too lowThat difference added up to about XXXX-XXXXThen I told him that I was angry at the bait-and-switch tactic used to get me in the door in the first place, that I came there specifically to see that one car, that I was told just minutes before I arrived that it was still thereNow, perhaps the car sold in that minutes, but I think it unlikely, and, because of this tactic, I was giving myself a small discount for having wasted my time
My wife was interested in the car, and was willing to talk about making the deal, but, I was recalcitrant in my position and we eventually agreed to continue looking
This is a classic bait-and-switchCouple that with a "very aggressive offer" that started at about $too high and ended at about $too high and I will never do any business with any *** *** dealershipThe only thing aggressive about the offer was that it was an aggressive attempt to take as much of my money as possible

I called Scott Clark Honda today to make arrangements for a manufacturer recall/repair on my vehicleThe telephone customer service was poor! And that's the PC terminology! I've called back twice, leaving my call back info each time and I have yet to receive a return callThe second time I called, the man I was talking to told me to stop yelling at him, and when I asked him to hold on while I got the VIN#, he hung up on me The third time I called, I was assured that my customer service concerns and recall/repair requests were being forwarded to a manager for resolutionI have yet to receive a call back I guess they are not concerned about managing the repair of the manufacturer's recall on my vehicle or my customer service complaints I will never use them in the future or recommend them to any other Honda ownerNeedless to say I'm calling another dealerPrayerfully, they will deliver better customer service

I purchased a used vehicle at this dealership in December With this vehicle I purchased the extended warranty which was to cover bumper to bumper for 100K miles or years
In November the "Check Engine" symbol came on in the vehicleI took the vehicle to Scott Clark service department, they stated they could not duplicate the issueThey told me to continue driving, if the light came on again, take the vehicle to the manufacturer's dealership (Chevrolet)Less than miles from the dealership the light came on againI went directly to the Chevrolet dealership on Independence Blvd
The Chevrolet dealership immediately told me what the problem was, told me what the cost to repair was, and how long it would take to repairThinking the vehicle was under warranty, I told them to proceed with the repairsThe Chevrolet dealership placed me in a laoner until the repairs were complete
When I returned to pick up my vehicle I was faced with a hefty repair chargeI questioned the Service Advisor about the charges, he stated the extended warranty I purchased from Scott Clark Honda was the same as the PowerTrain warranty that comes with the vehicleUnfortunately the repairs were not covered by either warranty
After paying the bill, I returned to Scott Clark Honda, showed the service manager the cost I just paid, and his response was less than supportive in producing restitutionsI proceeded to the showroom and asked for the owner or CEOI was given the sales manager who stated he would handle the situationHis "solution" was for me to purchase another vehicle from them which would have increased my payments by almost $
I am far from satisfied with this dealership and will suggest "BUYER BEWARE!!!"

We had told them we will come back and they kept promising just a few more minutes. We agreed that there were some cosmetic issues that were needing to be fixed and they agreed to give us a loaner and fix the paint and switch my rims. We did this on WEdnesday and were told we would have it on Thursday afternoon. Friday night came and we finally received the car from a delivery driver. The paint job was not complete at all. Also heard a sound coming from the motor. We took it back on Saturday and they said bring it back on Monday and they will fix the car. My husband took off of work to take it back on Monday and were told we would have it back on Tuesday. Wednesday came and we had it back with the fixed paint. the noise was still coming but they said that is the sound a new belt makes. We get a call 2 weeks later from the finance guy saying he found us a better rate to come back in a sign new paperwork being it is 2% lower than what we had. WE came back in and he even threw in 5 years FREE oil changes. WOW! We get home and after about a week I was reviewing the old paper work with the new paperwork to see where I send our payment being it was coming due only to find out we have been charged an additional $1881 for the FREE oil change, identity theft protection that was never talked about, and paint protection that was never talked about. I have called managers and finally received one that said [redacted] will refund you those charges on the loan. I received my current loan statement and there is NO refund. DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. And always be weary that nothing is free. We have found out the hard way. And also know, none of these 3 things were labled on the contract. I had to call to find out what these were. We just assumed we were signing the exact same paperwork like we were told, only with a different interest rate.
