Review: I TOOK MY CAR TO AAMCO FOR A TRANSMISSION CHECK UP BECAUSE THE CAR HAD A PROBLEM WHEN SHIFTED GEARS. THEY DID NOT FIND ANY PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION AND THEN SUGGESTED THAT THEY CAN DO A DIFFERENT DIAGNOSTIC TO FIND THE PROBLEM WHICH WOULD COST ME $250.00. I AGREED THINKING THEY WOULD FIND THE PROBLEM. LATER THEY SAID THAT MASTER AIR FLOW SENSOR HAD TO BE CHANGED. THEY SAY THEY WOULD BUY ORIGINAL PARTS FROM [redacted] (COST FOR THE PART WAS $367). ABOUT THIS I HAD THE CAR CHECKED AT A [redacted] DEALER AND THIS PART WAS AN AFTERMARKET PART AND NOT [redacted], THIS IS FRAUD RIGHT THERE.

SO, AAMCO CHARGED ME $690.88 FOR REPAIR AND PART OF MASTER AIR FLOW SENSOR PUTTING A PART THAT IT WAS NOT ORIGINAL (THEY TOLD ME IT WAS) AND ALSO ACCORDING TO THEM INSTALLED AN INTAKE GASKET FOR WHICH I HAVE NO EVIDENCE (I HAD THE CAR CHECKED AT THE [redacted] DEALER AND COULD NOT VERIFY THIS FIXTURE WAS DONE) AND CHARGED ME $1105.41. THESE TWO REPAIRS WERE UNNECESSARY.Desired Settlement: I WANT MY CREDIT CARD TO BE CREDITED FOR THE AMOUNT OF $690.88 AND $1,105.41.
